The bed was nice and pillows were super comfortable.

The staff couldnt be bothered if we stayed at their hotel or not, it seemed like none of them had been taught to smile.

wifi is not free, parking is too expencive-it shoud be free.

clean and good location with one good member of staff [Lena] who was great

abrasive, bullying staff, unfriendly who could not be bothered except one Lena who was great

I loved my apartment, the balcony

The breakfast was incredible. A large assortiment. The room was very confortable and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The teapot in the room is a good detail.

The price of the parking. 15€ per day is a bit expensive. The pillow was very soft.

The television in the room, and the shower was superb.

Reception; staff were either too busy or occupied in their own conversations. It took 25(twenty-five) minutes to check-out, and we had a plane to catch!

Lack of comfort on bed. Waterproof mattress protectors which made you sweat. The pillows we completely flat and had no support what so ever. I ended having four pillows that is simply ridiculous. The towels could be upgraded very thin. The internet charges are a rip off. YOu buy five hours but despite logging off the five hours start when you first activate the session. The were insufficient hangers for our length of stay 4 hangers for 2 people for 4 nights. Each one of these porblems was reported more than once before being rectified and some problems were not rectified.

first room assigned was still occupied. The price was riduculous, will plan around this in future, incl not staying in coologne .

Modern hotel. Room clean, bathroom very clean.

Frosted glass door for the bathroom. Construction going on all around hotel, they could have better signage at night directing you to the hotel entrance.

Location was good, the bed was comfortable. Room was a little small but sufficient. The shower looked nice, modern bathroom. Parking was convenient. The sauna area looked pretty nice.

It was pretty dirty, granted we stayed during fasching season so it was a bit insane. The room even had a sewage type smell. We had to open the windows upon first entry to air it out bc it smelled like someone had just recently utilized the toilet. But I figured it out later that it's just the way the water smells...realized that as I was taking a shower. The heater was not adequate for that room. The first night we were freezing. I informed the staff that it wasn't working properly (3 times actually) and later on that evening, about 9 hours later, someone came by the room to check. The water heater/coffee maker in the room looked as though it had not been cleaned for a week. We had to clean it out to use it. The gym was barely a gym but to be expected in Europe. One small treadmill, one elliptical machine, one row machine, 2 stationary bikes and a bar on the wall to do pullups...all in a room not much bigger than the standard guest room.

The room was tidy and decent, but not very special.

The staff was not very kind and the WiFi was rather overpriced.

Breakfasts are far too expensive. Leaflet given to us about Xmas markets by the hotel said the market nearest the hotel at theChocolate museum opened until 9pm on the 23rd, but when we got there on the 23rd had already closed the day before.

Small blankets and smell of moss in the shower. Noisy from the early morning.

the bar was lovely and the bar staff in particular were very helpful, attentive and friendly.

reception staff were unhelpful and rude at times. while waiting to check out we could hear the staff chatting in a room to the right yet no one would come out to us despite knowing there was guests waiting. the stairwell is not what you would expect of a 4 star hotel, needs refurbishment.

I liked the gym facilities and the food was excellent I stayed for 3 days and ate almost everything on the menu

The gym has the worst Cross trainer I have ever seen and one of the exercise bikes had a broken pedal system, annoying when there are only 2 bikes

Quite good location. Price was ok compared to other hotels in Cologne at this time of the year.

Very expensive parking (30 Euro for 1+1/2 days). Price for breakfast is outlandish (18 Euro/person).

Very cozy and nicely decorated rooms, which were also quite big. A metro/tram stop is located right next to the hotel. City center is just a 10 mins walk. Very fast and energetic staff for check in and check out. Internet was expensive (almost 10 € for 24 hrs) but very very fast. Big desk to work.

I asked for a quiet room, they put me right next to the place on which the following morning at 7am their own workers were changing windows on 5 rooms next to mine with heavy noise. Doing that on a 253 room hotel half empty due to low season is unforgivable. Very expensive mini bar items (5 € for a mineral water).

the cleanliness and atmosphere

The location was good for the city as you had the choice of a short walk or the underground,we liked the bar area which despite being busy the service was excellent and english was spoken and understood by all the staff.

The only thing that would have improved our stay was if we could have had a room with a bath.

Staff's could.nt care less attitude. Restaurant closed on Sunday.

Efficient staff and good location. Practical for our purposes.
