The breakfast was wonderful. Very nice room - enjoyed the balcony. Everything around us was vere quiet.

I can not mention a thing.

The hotel was in a central location and close to train station. They have a large selection of food and drinks for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and well maintained! Will definitely be back again.

It is not so old, but could look better...

Its location is ideal if you need to be close to the train station (which was my case - shuttle buses to Ryan Air´s Frankfurt-Hahn leave from outside). There is wifi Internet in the whole hotel (not only in the lobby, as Booking´s description indicated). There is great water pressure in the showers. Reception staff are very pleasant and efficient - my invoice was ready when I check out, did not have to ask for it. Buffet breakfast was very good, specially considering hotel category (which I believe is 3 stars).

Some rooms look out towards the main street and can (depending on sensibilities) be just a biy noisy.

The way the hotel is set up you will be able to tell as soon as you walk through the main door that it is a welcoming place and that you are going to enjoy your stay. The food, breakfast in my case, was very good with a good variety to choose from.

The only thing I can say is a drawback is the fact that it is so close to a main road. At least its a one way street so traffic is not so intense as a normal 2 way main road would be. I was on the 4th floor so that was a bonus regarding traffic noise, however with the door completely shut you would barely hear a thing. Other than that I could not complain of anything.

This was our fith visit to Germany from New Zealand. We love the abbience, also a chance to experience another part of your lovely country.

Central location, near train station, good staff, good restaurant, great breakfasts, and many small amenities and features in the room (plentiful electrical outlets, in-house safe, refrigerator, closet space, quietness).

Wi-Fi access and speed were a little slow.

Good location - a few minutes walk from main station. Breakfast was amazing - good selection of juice, fruit, cereal, bread, cakes, salad, cheese, meats, etc... Free access to 'easy sports' gym (about 10 minutes walk) included in stay - Huge selection of cardio equipment and machine weights, and a pretty good range of free weights too.

No air conditioning in standard room, and it was ridiculously hot.

Good breakfast, close to train station, contacted a cab for us when it was time to leave. Friendly staff.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful regarding all issues concerned with the hotel, but were not very helpful with activities outside the hotel. When we asked for recommendations for things to do or places to eat we were pointed in a direction and that was it. No mention of a festival going on about a mile away, or of an unsavory neighborhood a few blocks away. That sort of information would have been helpful.

The hotel was close to Mainz main train station and was very easy to find. This was important to us as we had just arrived in Germany from Australia and we travelled straight to Mainz from Frankfurt airport. We arrive early in the morning before our room was ready but there was no problems in leavng our bags at reception. We had a very spacious room and it was clean and tidy. The breakfast selection was excellent. Good value! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to family of friends

Durchgelegene Matratze. Krach von Lüftungsanlage, so dass Fenster über Nacht nicht offen bleiben konnte. Etwas muffiger Geruch im Hotel.

Het vriendelijke personeel en het uitstekend gesorteerde en heerlijke ontbijt

De verouderde inrichting, kleine donkere kamer en vooral zeer veel verkeersdrukte, waardoor het openen van een raam niet mogelijk was en het verstikkend warm in de kamer was s'nachts.

Die Zimmer waren top!

Die Bedienung beim Frühstück hatte m. E. keinen Überblick und lief planlos umher. Möglicherweise waren es aber auch Aushilfen.

La chambre était agréable et calme. Petit déjeuner copieux.

Il n'y a absolument rien en Français. Un menu en Français aurait été apprécié

Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnisse des dazugehörigen Restaurants stimmt nicht ganz. Eine mittelmäßig schmeckende Maischolle auf zu süßem Risotto für 20.- war zu teuer;
