The hotel was close to Mainz main train station and was very easy to find. This was important to us as we had just arrived in Germany from Australia and we travelled straight to Mainz from Frankfurt airport. We arrive early in the morning before our room was ready but there was no problems in leavng our bags at reception. We had a very spacious room and it was clean and tidy. The breakfast selection was excellent. Good value! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to family of friends

Close to train station. Excellent breakfast and one particularly pleasant, helpful waitress. Pleasant decor through hotel. Very small room with a single bed which was not comfortable Shower over bath that did not have a movable head and a shower curtain that could not prevent flooding of bathroom floor. No bath mat for slippery bath. Soap and shampoo holder in shower empty. Room not serviced on one occasion. Found reception staff largely unhelpful. Often returned in evening and to find front desk unattended and getting someone to give me key for room difficult. (I don't expect this to be peculiar to the Advena Europa Mainz Hotel but I was taken aback to find that two 20 minute calls to another country cost about as two nights accommodation. Would like to see all hotels give clear warning of cost of calls outside of Germany by the phone.) I doubt if I would recommend the Hotel to other travellers - only thing to really recommend is location if wanting hotel close to railway station. The size of the room with only a small single bed would be the main reason not to recommend.

The hotel is very close to the train station. The breakfast was very good. The room was not air-conditioned, and even though it was not that hot outside, I was slightly uncomfortable. The church bells nearby can be loud. The reception offered only one hour of free wifi, which in this day and age is unacceptable. I would pass on this hotel in the summer months.

Good-sized room, lots of storage, very good bathroom with great shower, helpful staff, excellent breakfast, good location near train station. Best hotel on our trip! We would have liked air conditioning or a fan in the room.

Die HotelmitarbeiterInnen waren sowohl vor unserer Anreise bei der Programmplanung als auch während unseres Aufenthaltes außergewöhnlich freundlich. Die Freundlichkeit der MitarbeiterInnen konnte leider nicht überdecken, dass ein eklatanter Mangel an Fachwissen und Gelassenheit vorlag, zudem es sich überwiegend um Auszubildende handelte.

Die Lage in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofes ist ideal für Bahnreisende. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstücksbuffett war reichhaltig und lecker.

Улыбчивый и приятный персонал, вкусные завтраки с 6-30 до 12 Долгий лифт, воняло в номере из ванны сыростью и гнилью, плохо убираются, неудобный душ, гель для душа плохого качества (появилась перхоть), пришлось почему-то оплатить штраф за двойное бронирование...

Quando vado a Mainz scelgo sempre questo albergo per la comodita' essendo vicino alla stazione ed inoltre per l'ottimo rapporto qualita'- prezzo. Ottima anche la colazione.

Alles super. Tolle Lage am Hbf. Schöne, geräumige u. saubere Zimmer. Von der "Außenwelt"/Straße nichts mitbekommen. Sehr leise. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal an der Rezeption. Sehr gute Auswahl am Früstücksbüffet. Parken gegen Gebühr im Parkhaus (für 14 Std. = 6 Euro). Beim Frühstück war's bischen hektisch, alle Plätze besetzt.

Wir wurden freundlich aufgenommen und bedient alles war ok ausser am Samstagmorgen waren die ServicemitarbeiterInnen einen Moment überfordert, da zuviele Gäste zum Frühstücken kamen und somit einige der Gäste nicht wussten, wohin sie sich setzen durften doch es legte sich nach kurzem und ging dann gut
