Breakfast was excellent although a little chaotic and staff friendily and welcoming 2 single beds instead of one double bed as was expected; the toilet should have been positioned the other way so that you can still open the bathroom door whilst someone is on there! |

the situation of the hotel - spacious and clean room - kind people behind the reception The atmosphere in the hotel was kinda "kill" - real German interior (not cosy at all) |

It was centrally located just opposite Porta Nigra and in a walking distance from the shopping area. The parking at the hotel was extra for the hotel quests.. |

Smart and tidy, perfect location at the Porta Nigra within walking distance of the excellent traditional-style haut-cuisine Pfeffermuhle (outstanding) and the von Kesselstatt weinstube, as well as the other well known resturants like Bagatelle (very overpriced and seriously overrated IMO) and Schlemmereule. Very much the international style of efficient and stylish hotel. Very good food at the bar, and a nice family brewery beer available as well as the usual choices. Bathroom had a slightly sulphurous smell, eventually we decided it was not do do with the spa water in the area, but something from the drains - a housekeeping job for the day we left. |

It's location is ideal for the shops, the Roman antiquities, the Dom, the other historical places, the river and the HBF. It is very easy to find. Facilities such as the large and comfortable reception, the covered outdoor bar area and the underground car park are all excellent. |

The hotel location right in front of the Porta Nigra is ideal for visiting Trier plus it has an underground carpark. It feels like it needs a refit, the interior is very 1970s. |

The central location at a resonable price with parking faciities. If the charge for parking could be reduced or eliminated i believe it would give a good advantage. I have found free parking available in similar other German city hotels. |

The hotel was very well-located for walking into the old center of Trier. The staff were very accommodating in our request for early checkin and late checkout. Room was clean and comfortable. The bathtub was huge! |

The best location , great view from our room. The bathroom had the distinct smell of cigarette smoke. We think it was coming from the ventilation system. We had a non smoking room. Please make your hotel non smoking. |

Being opposite Porta Nigra it is easy to find by car; the secure car park is also a bonus. The location to the city makes everything within easy walking distance. The staff were all friendly and the room large, clean and functional, will definitely use again when travelling this region. |

The view over Porta Nigra was not bad! Nice rooms and even if the breakfast was expensive, it was worth it.They had everything and the service from the staff was abolutly perfekt. They have a parkingplace for the car. We have now been travelling for almost 3 weeks from big citys to very small villages in Spain and France, and the internet in the hotels have always been free. This is the first hotel were you have to PAY for it. Very, very oldfashion and bad |

It had a central location. It was a spacious room and clean. It was a perfect room. I thought the breakfast was heavily overpriced at €16 per person. I also think free parking should be available to guests. |

Proximity to Porta Nigra (100 meters) & downtown Trier...oldest city in Germany! Price of breakfast way to high...when there are bakeries 150 yards away! |
