This was our 8th stay at this hotel...love it as home...stuff are so friendly,they are trying their best to make your stay comfortable...the rooms are excellent ...we stay in connected deluxe room with a corner suite as we are 2 adults and a twin...we never search for any other hotels in cologne as we feel that cologne is the dom HOtel....we love it from a to z |

I liked the reception- all were extremely polite and friendly but not obtrusive which is important. I worked as receptionist at the hotel and know that it is not easy. I also liked the fact that we got the room with a special offer for 522e. This was an excellent value for money. I liked that it was a channel in my native language on tv, it was nice to listen to the news in the morning. We were afraid that the smell of smoke would bother us as we read in some reviews but it did not. The breakfast was very good even too much if you usually do not eat in the morning)) Having extra water in the room was very useful. The bathroom was spacious, the rooms were nicely decorated. I would suggest to put a kettle in the rooms. A cup of tea would be a nice addition to the chocolate. In general we liked the hotel, Location is superb! |

The breakfast is excellent, never see an omelette done so well. The front desk staffs are very friendly and perfect service and the bell hops are extremely helpful. I have been coming to Cologne a few times for exhibtions but the stays at Dom Hotel is par excellent. The only thing that I dislike about this hotel is too good a breakfast that makes you overeat, but that is great. |

Location is prime and staff are very friendly. View of cathedral is spectacular. Booked months in advance and requested specific room. At check-in were not able to give us the requested room because "already occupied". I was paying top dollar and had made it very clear that I required the specific view room. Overall, the total experience was good but not top notch. I feel I could get a better overall expereince for the amount of money I paid. |

Excellent hotel, great location, just 2 steps from the Dom. Very helpful and friendly personal of the hotel, very nice spacious rooms, pleasant atmosphere. I could not wish for the better, will certainly recommend it friends and stay there again. |

It was great to be close to the Cologne Cathedral in order to be able to see the Cathedral illuminated in the dark without having a long walk late at night. Hotel was very clean and comfortable; air conditioning worked very well. |

the staff were outstanding. the location was very central and the views amazing. this was my second stay here and i love it!! the free minibar was a real treat and of course the complimentary dressing gown and slippers. the only problem we had was the price of the internet and the price of water outside of the minibar. |

A hotel that I know well and like but, arriving late, there was no interest in helping us to find anything to eat - apart from nuts - in the hotel. We asked for feather pillows in our application for accommodation. They were not provided. Very expensive breakfast - 23 Euros per person - which meant that we ate elsewhere. |

Front office staff excellent! Give them a pay raise! :) Cost of internet very very high. A free 10 or 15 minute internet card to check emails would have been great as not many internet cafe's around area. |
