Ontbijtzaal op 9e verdieping met fantastisch uitzicht over de Alster is werkelijk een genot.perfekt ontbijt! Internet connection was slecht - viel vaak uit en traag een hotel van deze standaard zou wifi gratis moeten geven.

It is such a beautiful hotel! The Alster lake is right in front of the hotel so the views,the atmosphere is magical.The rooms are spacious,every detail is considered (you can even enjoy internet in a huge plasma and room service is perfect) and the bath is gorgeous.I will highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were lovely, location was good. The view was amazing. The bar was small but lovely. The check in wasnt very good as we had to wait for 40 mins after 3 and then asked to wait longer. Eventually the receptionist gave us another room. The spa facilities were a lot smaller than I was expecting. The breakfast at 30€ was a tad expensive. We told the hotel it was our 26th wedding anniversary but no extra effort had been made. On arrival we had to make our own way to the room.

The staff were so great, the restaurant in the 9th floor is amazing. The room is very spacious but the furniture is not comfortable and the colour is so ugly My room was in the 3rd floor lake view, but it was too much noisy, I asked the reception to change it and they change it to the 7th floor lake view and not noisy at all. The furniture in the room is really normal and the colour was so bad it is green.

Concierge and Front Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Room features and amenities were excellent and well thought out. The quality and variety of the breakfast buffet was among the best I have ever had. Dining room staff seemed dismissive of non-German guests. Several small items in room didn't work properly, I.E., bathroom exhaust fan was inoperative. Room service menu was over priced.

Staff was very efficient and warm. Room spacious and nicely decorated. Fine location facing the lake and within short walk from shopping areas. We will certainly come back. A bit pricey on breakfast.

very helpful, polite staff. My sister and I were travelling with our elderly mother in a wheelchair and were very well looked after. We had a fantastic view from our balcony. The room was lovely, the bathrooms were beautifully designed. The food was very good and the restaurant location on the 9th floor was an excellent place to enjoy a meal.

The staff were most helpful with all our questions from sightseeing to mailing letters. They couldn't have been nicer! The location was perfect for us as we could walk to almost every place we wanted to go. It would have been nice to have a casual dining place for a quick sandwich rather than using room service.

The location close to the lake, modern design, comfortable beds. Hotel staff obviously inadequately trained. Complete lack of information by hotel staff about facilities, breakfast times etc.No brochure in the room to provide such information either. We had to ask at the reception about breakfast times and were misinformed with the result that we missed the breakfast buffet that we had paid for already when booking the stay. Spa area was nice but the water temperature of the swimming pool was too low.

This was an expensive birthday treat for us but we loved the hotel and the location so it was worth spending the money. The modern room, with lake view was beautiful with all modern conveniences and a luxury bathroom. The room temperature was perfect and we had a fabulous nights sleep. The breakfast was lovely. We did not like the table arrangements at breakfast - sitting underneath the raised tables was not ideal and we had no privacy as a result of this. It was a very busy place to sit and not brilliant considering this fantastic hotel. The food was great but the seating arrangements weren't.

Frühstücksbuffet Lage Aussicht Angekündigtes "Läuferserice" Wasser u Äpfel von 6-10h war nicht da, auch nicht um 7.15h, Concierge erst ab 10h für Reservierung f Veranstaltung erreichbar, Blutreste von Mücken am Fensterrahmen...sollte in so einem Hotel nicht passieren War für uns ein "Probewochenende", leider mit nicht passendem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis
