Hotel Merkur (Superior)  

The hotel was within easy walking distance of all the places in Baden Baden you were likely to visit. There was parking on site.

This is a beautiful hotel, well-priced hotel located near everything you might want to see and do in Baden-Baden. Nicely furnished, very modern, clean, great and helpful staff, and really good restaurant with some very special dishes! We loved everything about it!

We actually liked everything - the friendly staff from front desk to the breakfast room - they are very helpful and informative - giving us info what to see and do and where to eat. The room is pretty good - clean and spacious and the bathroom as well is clean. And we had a place to park our car and that's really great.

Staffs were very kind and room was cozy. I would stay next time again without hesitation. Only 2 minutes walking distance to downtown shopping area and restaurants. We really enjoyed staying this hotel.

Right in the town centre, comfortable stylish rooms, very welcoming staff and a good breakfast selection

Wifi reception was poor and often not working at all. I mentioned to receptionist who called the technician as if it was a regular thing they are not bothering to solve properly. Didn't cause big problems for me but means hotel unsuitable if you need to work or are used to sharing photos etc on facebook (could get stuck with big roaming charges on your phone bill).

we stayed at this fantastic hotel for two nights and have a great great time,definitely will choose to stay again for our next trip to Baden-Baden.

Staff were very obliging, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. Room very clean and comfortable. Would definitely return.

The hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Moreover,they are very competent.The room is very cosy ,the breakfast is rich and the location is just ideal.A very important advantage is the parking garage.No doubt,we'll come to this hotel again.

the location is perfect, near the city center of Baden you can walk to the shops and to the famous Spa Carllanca i guess

Overall we liked everything about the hotel, rooms were a good size, the room we had was quiet, hotel staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Hotel is situated in a good location.

Car parking. We used the hotel car park but we needed to ask the staff to move other cars to get to oour so that we could use it. I was not aware that we had to pay for parking either. This came as a surprise when presented with the bill.

Lack of air conditioning.

Really nice room lots of windows so bright. Large room with sofa which was nice to relax on. Great bathroom. Good breakfasts. Able to park outside for 9 euros per day. Short walk to main town. Very pleasant staff.

We were greeted by a gentleman, Matthias, who helpped a lot during our two nights stay, giving guidance for the town, help with luggages and parking, both in and out. He is both nice and efficient. We got an upgrade to a suite. Everything was great, including the breakfast. A pity that their restaurant was closed during our stay.

Rooms were very clean and cozy. Loved the style. Breakfast was pretty good, as well.

The staff serving the breakfast would "clean" the crumbs off the table by sweeping them onto the floor and the chairs, without cleaning the chairs afterward. Guests ended up sitting in crumbs...very unprofessional!

Excellent all around

The outside noise, one had to open the window due to the warm weather and unfortunately and on nightly basis, there was a rowdy crowd seating at the front of hotel until early hours of the morning.

Great friendly staff. Nice rooms. Good breakfast. City centre location was perfect.

My room was just out of WiFi range for my mobile device. I had to sit just outside my room to check mail/ surf the web. Could do with another hotspot for that part of the hotel
