I did not like the beauty treatment, I was left with a mask on for 25 minutes, no real cleaning was done. For 65,00 Euros I am used to a better treatment.

Very extensive breakfast, small but good spa facilities, walking distance (20 mins) from Alt Stadt.

The receptionist responsible for our registration was impolite & arrogant.Not really eager nor suitable to serve hotel clients. May not be related to training as the other staffs were ok.Should be more of a personality problem

Amazing value for the money. Fantastic breakfast. Wonderful staff.

The hotel has a very good 4* standard, nice facilities and it was very clean. There were coffee/tea making facilities in the room with good selection, the bathroom was very nice and clean. The location is very good, there is a train station and tram station very close and if you fancy, you can walk to the city centre which takes about 20 minutes or less. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the choice of food was amazing! The hotel has a very nice pool and spa.

There was not enough body lotion in the bathroom, in fact there was just one used small bottle when we arrived but the staff brought some more on request. Breakfast staff were not very friendly. Spa does have its own reception but there was no one there when we went down to use it. We had to go back to reception to get a key to the locker. There was no information about this anywhere and it was a bit frustrating. Not much information where to get bathrobes and flip flops either.The spa itself was excellent! The hotel wanted to charge us city tax although that was included in the price at the time of booking.

Clean, spacious room, nice bed, great breakfast, very nice spa area included in the room price, rooms very quite and calm. Great for a relaxing and high standard weekend!

The breakfast was the best of any hotel I have ever used. The spa and pool were excellent.

Booking ststed the city tax was included. The hotel said this was booking.com's error an it was not included.

Nice hotel just across the road from the Koelnmesse exhibition halls.

Outrageously expensive breakfast. Breakfast was €25 yet I had dinner the night before,in the same hotel for €22.

Excellent, superb breakfast. Lovely,hot and powerful jacuzzi. Swimming pool surprisingly black tiled, but attractive. Rooms excellent. Hotel 20min on foot to city centre,via iron railway bridge. Attractive walk across the river.

Restroom next to swimming pool bit too cold, even with covers. Car parking underground much too expensive (19euro/day!). Room could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly. But still: fine hotel!

Close to main square (15 min walk), easy access from train station (5 min walk). Friendly staff, nice and clean rooms.

No restaurant or fitness centre.

Beautiful facilities, relaxing atmosphere, polite and helpful staff, location away from the hustle and bustle, best breakfast ever, and great value for money.

We liked everything

Very comfortable and clean room, the public transport into the city from the hotel is excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The Spa centre is nice. The good is good.

The only issue was that the coffee cup was not cleaned and the shelf was not cleaned when the coffee was replaced.

Nice hotel, big room and nice bathroom. Tram/metro station right at the front door. We chose it because of the spa (warming up after the visiting the christmas market...) and it was alright: swimming pool, sauna, steam bath and jaccuzi. Bit crowded but that was to be expected in such a large hotel. Breakfast is nice, but €25 euros is definitely overpriced. So if you have time to look for something else in the city center, I would do so. We had a drink in the evening in the hotel bar, nice place to sit for a while.

My only disappointment was the breakfast we booked on arrival for Sunday morning it never turned up we received the one on Saturday morning pointed this out to the front desk the only was there was no refund ? I was only pointing out the missing breakfast, still we had a great time anyway

After visiting the Christmas markets it was fantastic to return and spend time in the pool and hot tub

The hotel gave us a comfort room instead of the maisonette that I had paid for hoping that we wouldn't notice!! They only admitted that they didn't have the correct room after we queried it and then we had to spend one night in a business room before getting the correct room. I feel that had I have been male or not british I would have been treated better.

Good breakfast, good Spa-wellness facilities

two confuses at the dinner at the restaurant: 1. We ordered fole baked potato filled with salmon, but were served only potato. after reminding to the wateress, we were brought a salmon on a different plate. 2. We informed staff that don't eat pork, and ordered some fried potato, but we discovered, that potato was fried with bacon.

Nice and quite rooms, good services including sauna and swimming pool, small training area. Very good brakfast but quite expensive and not included in the room rate.

Cleaness of the bathroom could be better. Shower did not work properly (temperature uneaven, too hot and then too cold). One evening I could not have a shower because of the water too cold.
