Great location for visiting Hamburg. 10 minutes walk to Hafen City, 5 minutes walk to St Michael's church, and a short walk to the harbour promenade. There is a S bahn stop 100m away that takes you straight to Hamburg airport. Nearby there are several restaurants. The rooms are basic but exceptionally clean, and coffee and croissants are provided in the mornings. It may be a little difficult to locate, look out for the building that says Catholische Akademie. The check in machine didn't work when I arrived but the friendly lady from hotel reception rectified that quickly so not an issue. Only small complain is the soft pillow.

We appreciated very much the existence of a fridge from which you could buy drinks and leave a note to be charged on trust. That shows how civilized are people from hamburg. Heating system was not strong enough as I felt cold throughout. We even increased the heating from 3 to 4 at some point. the floor was also cold. the tiles didn't help to create that sensation of warmth this problem (request to change room) in a hotel without permanent staff when you're staying just one night is frustrating if i'm not mistaken our room was 962

Walking distance to center city and subway. It's value for money in terms of location and the room facilities. The reception is only open for a limited of time, hence it is hard to request for something ie. Kettle or additional information. It would be nice to have an open kitchen where we can boil kettle or store something in the fridge for the time staying. Thanks.

Excellent location, free parking. The room has a good size, though the bathroom was rather small but very clean and tidy. No breakfast facilities but a nice cup of coffee and a croissant at the reception (for free) to start the day !

The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.Cleaning staff did their job thoroughly and quickly and were pleasant.The hotel was very convenient-close to good restaurants and the important sights we loved the grossmarket and the restaurants on St Michaelis eg the rialto and Erst Liebe.Very close to s bahn which we used a lot.Enjoyed the tea and croissants in the morning. It was an unusual experience being part of another Institution and sometimes this meant a lack of atmosphere but it suited us as we were on a budget and staying at least a week.

The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable, and very reasonably priced for a hotel with such an excellent central location. Although we were expecting no facilities or breakfast, we found a fridge of drinks was available and coffee and croissants were provided in the mornings. It was a little difficult to find. The self-check-in machine was easy to use, but was temperamental.

Daß der Tiefgaragenparkplatz problemlos auch nach dem Auschecken noch einige Stunden genutzt werden konnte. Daß die Zimmer (gemessen an 2 angrenzenden Kirchen) super schallisoliert waren. Daß in 10 Minuten sowohl die Landungsbrücken als auch der Kiez fußläufig erreichbar waren. Daß man als Frühstücks-Starter Croissants und Kaffee bekam. Daß auf dem Balkon eine Möglichkeit des Rauchens bestand.

Am besten hat uns die Lage des Hotels und die Sauberkeit im Hotel gefallen. Die Duschkabinen in unseren beiden Zimmer (Nr 958 und Nr 950) waren etwas eng. Sonst gab es nichts zu beanstanden.

gute lage, sehr konfortabel, nette, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter.es gibt keine Möglichkeit das Gepäck nach 13.00 zu hinterlassen, im Baseler Hof, wo wir unser Gepäck hinterlassen konnten war das Personal äusserst freudlich und hilfsbereit

es gibt keine richtige rezeption / abends - und für mich war nicht ersichtlich, dass es sich um ein konzept ähnlich wie etap hotels handelt. es gab keine mitarbeiter im hotel - die zimmer sind sehr klein - die dusche noch kleiner -

Pulizia La macchina per fare il check in automatico era fuori uso ed essendo la reception aperta solo il mattino, alle 14:00 siamo stati costretti a recarci in un altro hotel a venti minuti di cammino per ritirare la chiave.
