The atmosphere, the facilities, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff I could not fault. I would come to the hotel if I was not a guest to chill out during the day or at night. The bar was well stocked and cafe food was of excellent quality. I loved my room, the bed was big and comfortable and the shower was powerful and hot. There was plenty of storage space too. I will be back!
Very cool looking place. Super hipster! Very clean too and close to public transport and some restaurants.
You pay for the coolness... The drinks in the bar are overpriced and not very good. The beds could be more comfortable and the pillows were quite bad. Very expensive breakfast.
Perfect if you're looking for a hostel atmosphere with all the facilities of a luxury hotel
design of the rooms is very cool - loft style with the living area below and bed at the top, the lobby of the hotel is a relaxing bar/lounge area offering a DJ most of the time, the dining room/restaurant serves great food and a good wine list, staff were very friendly and helpful and clearly wanted us to enjoy Berlin!
I don't like that the bed was two singles as we are a couple. It also could have had a little more room to put luggage and maybe a little more access to lighting if desired.
The service was really good and the hotel feels very trendy, just like Berlin. There is a nice bar and also a very relaxing lobby where you can wait for your room to be ready while you read the books they have there free for guests.
In my room the walls where very thin, and unfortunately I had VERY noisy neighbours, so couldn't sleep at all.
The staff was really really helpfull all the time and you also get the feeling its not all about the money for the owner. The rooms and the entire hotel has a really cool feel to it. You meet nice new people in the lobby in no time if you like and to that you can go out with or just have a hoffe with.
The Food in the bar could be a bit better and a bit more variaty would be nice. The beds are ok but not excellent
Michelberger has a nice vibe and feel to it. The staff are friendly and relaxed - i really liked that. Also the big Window in the room was lovely - and of course the station is just across the street. Very convinient;) I Will come back.... But maybe not with my kid. It's more for Nice coctails and hanging out.
The Library Room, the Restaurant, the Bar especially the coffee, the staff and the general laid back atmosphere compared to the Hilton where we had stated the previous 2 nights - loved it
Nothing to complain about
Cozy nice interior
Location was good, very close to train station. Bar was a nice place to spen time although drinks were quite expensive.
Bit disappointed breakfast not included and was quite expensive (16) for what it was. We paid each day but then the staff tried to charge us again on our final day and implied we were lying as we didn't have recites (they didn't give us any). The rooms are quirky but using the cabin bed gets a bit annoying and aren't that comfortable. Can't watch tv in bed, pain if ou need the loo at night. The rooms were cold I think this is because the cleaners insisted on leaving the window wide open and it took a long time to warm up. No movie channels and poor selection of channels. Heard goo things about resturant but unfortunately it was closed the evening we wanted to go (Monday).
good wi fi
stinky rooms very small rooms view to city garbage storage not polite staff take the opportunity to cheat the price bad soundproofing
I can not recommend this hotel enough. The staff were extremely helpful, location perfect (just up the road from east side gallery) and the facilities outstanding. This would be the only place I will stay in Berlin, we are already booking our next trip in the summer.
Really cool hotel, great value for money for design of rooms and communal areas. Great brunch, and fantastic lounge/bar area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Really nice place to stay, and good location to explore city. Would definitely recommend.
Minor point, but could give fresh towels every day.
Love the interior design; great ambience in all the communal spaces; Berlin at its' hippest.
Travel light - there's no mini-safe, or drawers and just a few hangers. User error - the bed side lights have hidden switches inside the bed, under the level of the mattress. Mind the gap - there's two single mattresses pushed together to make up the double bed.
the single duvets which i understand are for flexibility for who room occupiers are but would have liked option of joining them together to make a double as we are a couple.more pillows would be nice to.
Staff were very pleasant, location was ideal and the restaurant was excellent.
You had to go outside to reach the restaurant.
modern design, smth in-between industrialism and bohemian atmosphere; very functional and comfort rooms; deliscious and varied breakfast; bar dowstairs; inner courtyard
What a great hotel! It felt like staying at a friends house - the staff were so friendly & helpful, we were upgraded rooms upon arrival and the hotel lobby/bar is the best we've ever stayed in!
The interior design of the room was very cool, so was the bar downstairs (not at all like other hotel bars).
The coffee with the breakfast was a bit average.
The location, the room (Band Room, sleeps 4), good shower, free coconut water on arrival, the bar.
The service was a bit hit and miss. We were ignored a couple of times in the bar, though the staff were very friendly and helpful when they did eventually come over to the table. The check-out experience was very disappointing - the woman at the desk got very flustered and confused when we asked to split the bill over four credit cards, and was a bit short with us. Also, why on Earth do you serve hot drinks in tall glasses in the bar - they are impossible to drink out of!
The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was good, the food was delicious.
Bar lounge Room style Uniqueness of hotel Location to tram and train Good breakfast spread Ease of check in
There was nothing to dislike
Stylish Good location right next to the wall and the night clubs. Well designed. Fun rooms. Good wifi.
The service at the bar is cold and slow, The staff looked bothered all the time, and was not nice, even to my kids. That's the only thing that needs to be better.
Help from the front desk in checking a reservation using the desk computer. Breakfast
