Mikon Eastgate Hotel

中央駅から徒歩10分弱もしくはバスで3分のち徒歩で、入り口は少々分かりにくいです。広いお部屋で嬉しかったのですが、お風呂場にしかゴミ箱がなく、冷蔵庫がありませんでした。スタッフの方々はとても親切です。朝食(有料)は可。

The staff are very nice, the room is clean with basic stuff suitable for a short weekend break. The location is good, rather conveniently close to the main train station.

It was a bit noisy from the street, but we were so tired, so in the end it didn't matter much. The breakfast (7.5 euros) was not really worthy.

The sentral location.

It was very, very hot in the room (room nu. 504) , and no aircondition (we knew about that when we made our reservation) and therefor not easy to fall asleep at night. The third night I was lucky to borrow a fan from the staff. This helped a bit.

Good value/price, large room, comfy bed, clean modern bathroom with powerful shower, location close to public transport and mitte district.

Reception on night shift not very helpful (during day shift fine). Noise coming from cleaners in the morning, vacuuming, television through walls and doors slamming. No hot water in the morning on our last day.

Room was clean and contained everything I needed. There is also a soft drink machine near elevator however quite expensive.

Cleaning women did not knock on the door but immediately tried to unlock the room.

centrally located

hard to communicate in english & get information about the city otherwise a great hotel

The central position, not too noisy and the room was large.

They need to put towel racks in the bathrooms.

I chose this hotel because it was reasonably-priced and central. It isn't fancy, but it's a good base for exploring the city. The room was clean, a good size and had a great view - you could even see the dome of the Reichstag. The hotel's odd location at the top of an office/apartment block gave it a certain charm, and the side-street on which it was situated was quiet and easy on the eye.

It would be good if the hotel could sell snacks - just chips/chocolate/ fruit/peanuts would do. It's a long way to the shops if you get hungry late at night. The lack of a phone in the room was also slightly irritating - I guess they expect most people to have mobiles these days, but I had forgotten my charger and was rather banking on there being a room phone.

This is the excellent hotel in the city center for such low price! Nothing superfluous. Good daily cleaning. Russian-speaking staff.
