Comfortable owners very helpful
Cleaner unhelpful p ful insisted on leaving Windows open although told by owners not to
Staff was very friendly and cooperative.
old rooms, bad smell in the room, very old furniture, no facility except wifi. as i said except fron desk staff nothing is good in this hotel.
We had a relaxing night. We found the room big enough for two, clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was kind to us at check in/out as well as at the breakfast. We had coffee, bread, ham, cheese, tomatoes, serials and yogurt. There some choices and some fruits, too. Good Wi-Fi. The price was reasonable.
Nothing when you think about the price.
Location is very near to city center. Near to central station 10~15 min walking.
Breakfast is limited to certain types. Wi-fi is very slow in the rooms, you have to be in the ground to get execellent signal.
The owner is very friendly, but apart from the bathrooms which seem to have had a makeover a few years ago, this hotel needs maintenance. Old beds, old pillows, a seventies look & feel.
- the pillows - the Wifi had to be reconnected all the time
The owner is AWESOME, very happy to help with anything, and always present, also during the night. It's also super close to the bus station of the 722, which takes directly to the Conference Center. The rooms are very spaceous, and although we were very close to the elevator we were not disturbed at all. The room gets also quite dark.
The pillows are too flat, but that's maybe how they are used to in Germany, as we found similar ones in other hotels. The owner did his best to provide another pillow which did improve the situation a little.
Reception was very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was also good,
Some might find the location a little too far from the old town.
Hotel is smelly, rooms not like photos very poor furniture, balcony was connected to other room which made me uncomfartable and the hotel owner did not inform me before i accommodtae in the hotel. i had to pay full three nights and i left after the first night...the worst hotel i have ever experienced
- location - breakfast - owner is very active and service-minded
Room nice and quiet. Everything very clean. Excellent breakfast..
value for price was fair. Room was big enough with fair facilities
The room was not convenient for business. Internet was poor, I prefer to use the stairs instead of the elevator and it is a bit far from the public transportation stations.
We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. Everything was perfect - the room was very big and clean, breakfast was fresh and offered variety, the staff was spectacularly hospitable. We would definitely stay there again.
24hr friendly reception, Continental breakfast
Noisy outside, no AC.
Had an enjoyable stay here. It's run by two brothers, Rudolph and I forgot the other, but they were extremely helpful and accommodating. Nice to have a German breakfast daily, and rooms were tidy and clean.
Wifi was a bit finicky!
very friendly and helpful staff, very good location, nice breakfast
not adequate internet reception in my room
location, Staff, the internet speed
the lobby and elevator are small but doesn't matter very much.
Very good quality price relationship, the breakfast, and nice personal attention.
Some noise at night
Room was big enough for the two of us, bright and airy. Breakfast was good, continental style, plenty of choice, and coffee was good too. The two men who run the hotel were very welcoming, polite and friendly and gave us tips and info on getting about the City Centre. The hotel is not far from the shopping centres and Altstadt.
No tea making facilities in the room, which would've been nice after walking around all day. Wifi is hit and miss as you have to keep logging back into it for some reason. I didn't find the bed very comfortable, but noticed that they did put mattress toppers on the beds as requested so at least they did try to make it comfortable for us. These are only small niggles to be fair!
Staff were very friendly Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily with fresh towels etc. Breakfast was great
Excellent. Everything. The personell was incredibly nice. The room was perfect. The break fast was really good. Clearly a recommendation.
great location, very spacious room, fantastic breakfast and lovely staff
The location of the Minerva Garni was good for our purpose because of it's quite central to Dusseldorf. Plenty choice for breakfast buffet and you could have cooked food by request.
The hotel says it has private parking, but I think it is limited, because we could not get the use of it, and it is a difficult area to find parking. When booking this hotel make sure you are going to get use of their parking if you have a car.
The hotel is simple but offers everything you need: good beds, clean rooms and a good breakfast. The owner is very friendly. The shower was a bit small but the water was warm and everything was cleaned everyday. Within 15 minutes you can walk from the hotel to the city center. It is really worth the money.
