This family-run hotel is in a quiet location in the town of Nesselwang. Hotel Alpenrose offers free Wi-Fi and country-style rooms with a balcony offering great views of the Allgäu Alps. The country-style rooms at mD Hotel Alpenrose are warmly furnished. Every room includes satellite TV and a private bathroom with shower. A full buffet breakfast is provided each morning in the Alpenrose’s spacious restaurant with its traditional wooden furniture. Drinks can be enjoyed at the cozy bar. The Alpenrose is an ideal base for hiking and skiing, and is 3 miles from the Grüntensee Lake. Many stores and cafés can be found in the center of Nesselwang, as well as the Alpspitzbahn ski lift. Pleasant hotel high above the town (a bit out of the way).Standard Bavarian style chalet hotel. Only stayed the one night and didn't use any facilities so can't comment on these. Only minor point is hotel is right above the line approaching the railway station below. The first time the little commuter trains toot toot is quite qhaint but palls after a while; thankfully service doesn't seem to go on too late at night.

Die günstige Lage zur A7 und die fussläufige Nähe zum Dorfkern. Spärliches Frühstück (mit offensichtlich Aufbackbrötchen!), leider kein eigenes Restaurant vorhanden zum Abendessen, Ambiente im Speiseraum sehr dürftig. Dafür Preis definitiv etwas zu hoch.

Duschvorhang im Bad gehört dringend ausgewechselt: Fleckig, schmuddelig und man setzt beim Duschen das Bad unter Wasser, sodass man hinterher aufwischen muss!

Dieses Hotel ist einfach fantastisch. Das Personal war freundlich, äußerst zuvorkommend und unglaublich hilfsbereit, so daß ich ein familieäres Ambiente empfunden habe. Das Frühschtück war absolut top. Alles frisch!!! Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Die Zimmer sind warm und einladend eingerichtet. Die Hygiene ist im gesamten Hotel makellos!!! Wer einen bequemen und super Service genießen möchte ,dem kann ich nur dises herrliche Hotel empfehlen!!! Vielen Dank nochmal an das ganze Team. Netter und sehr freundlicher Service; gute Lage. Für das Preis Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung. Neue Bäder in den Zimmer, die den aktuellen Standard entsprechen. Zimmereinrichtung und Ausstattung entsprechen m. E. nicht mehr dem Standard und sollten bei Gelegenheit erneuert werden.

Het hotel was prima, gunstig gelegen, schoon en vriendelijk personeel. Bij het avondeten kon je slechts kiezen uit 3 menu's en die waren niet optimaal.

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Rustig gelegen hotel met zeer ruime kamers (het was meer een appartement dan een kamer, met zitgedeelte, keukentje, halletje en ruime badkamer). Balkon met uitzicht. Vanaf het hotel ben je met de auto in een half uur in de "Königsschlösser" en in een kwartier in het historische stadje Füssen, dat zeker de moeite waard is. Avondeten was goed. Het was niet à la carte, maar een vast halfpensionmenu met drie gangen (voor een zeer redelijke prijs). Ontbijt was uitstekend: uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met ook groente en fruit erbij. Een restaurant met een à-la-carte-menu was nog fijner geweest, maar is zeker geen reden om hier weg te blijven. Je kunt ook in een van de stadjes in de omgeving eten. Het bedje voor de derde persoon (we waren met zijn drieën), een slaapbank, was helaas wat minder comfortabel. Er zat een deuk in het matras.
