Hotel Apollo  

Everyday room cleaning. Heater warming up the room fast enough. Hot water constantly. Unexpectedly fast wi-fi internet. Bus stop near the hotel.

Neither breakfast nor a mini fridge were icluded in a price of 65 euros per night. Carpet on the floor, which you can never tell if it is clean (except for the bathroom, where the floor was tiled). Uncomfortable mattress and pillow. Not so kind and friendly staff.

Good location close to the highway for long-distance travellers.

Some previous visitors to this hotel complained about noisy air conditioning in some rooms. This was my third stay in the hotel and it was the first time that I actually got the noisy room...

New hotel on hillside out of centre of town. Large and well equipped rooms. Spotlessly clean. Plenty of parking. Nice English speaking staff. Excellent restaurant with reasonably priced food. A very good hotel that I will use again. Bus to centre less than 5 minutes walk away.. Taxi to town is about ten euros.

Nothing, an excellent hotel.

This is a comfortable hotel with clean, airy rooms (the excellent German standard), close to the university. Ample parking space, friendly staff, a good restaurant and good local beer (Thurn und Taxis) The bus stop for a 15 minute ride to the historical center of Regensburg is only steps from the hotel. Non-smokers: Select a non-smoking room during the booking process. The rooms where smoking is allowed tend to be a bit stuffy.

The warm water supply in the bath room is erratic (This is the reason, that I rated the comfort "fair", otherwise I would rate it "good"). The warm water supply is clearly not calculated for the capacity needed for this hotel. The result is, that the shower is continually switching between warm and cold.

We was together with two other familys and were travelling to Wien and than to our summerholiday in Italy. The hotel was perfect for our purpose. The hotel was great and the staff was helpful and kindly.

Its out of town, but I knew that when booking, so I cant complain. Also the buses run like clockwork.

The breakfast was excellent (although one has to pay extra, but it's worth it) and we also enjoyed the hotel facilities (sauna, pool) very much. It's reasonable close to the center (easily reachable with the bus). When we wanted to stay a little bit longer on the last day, this was no problem.

The only annoying thing was the internet: The connection broke down every 30 sec. or so. However, there was a couch on the corridor where the connection was better.

The room was very small and absolutelly diferrent from the pictures shown

Really liked the location due to my need to be close to the Uni Klinik and by car easy access to the town center. Also, the room was perfect for my tastes.

The only thing that disturbed me was the banging during the evening hours. My room was just above the kitchen and the noise was a bit too much.

Ein Hotel zum Wohlfühlen, ideal für eine Städttour - nur 3 km vom Zentrum entfernt, wo man am Wochenende problemlos kostenfreie Parkplätze findet. Trotz autobahnnaher Lage des Hotels sehr ruhig gelegen, mit vielen kostenfreien Parkplätzen. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Helle moderne Zimmer mit sehr guten Betten, das Bad dürfte nicht kleiner sein, dafür hat es eine schöne große Dusche - alles sehr modern und sauber! Sehr schöne Hand- und Duschtücher. Im Erdgeschoss ein schönes Schwimmbad, das auch von einer Schwimmschule genutzt wird. Das Frühstück ist Klasse und eher 4-Sterne-Standard mit (über das Normale hinaus) frischem Obst, Lachs und anderen Fischspezialitäten, Oliven und Schafskäse, einer sehr guten Auswahl an Teesorten und Konfitüren und sogar Mineralwasser und einer Auswahl an verschiedenen Nahrungsergänzungsmitteln in Form von Brausetabletten (Calcium, Magnesium...) - ein sehr ausgewogenes Frühstück, dass uns sehr geschmeckt hat. Alles in Allem können wir dieses Hotel ganz klar weiterempfehlen, auch wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Frühstücksbuffet: Schinken war zu dick geschnitten, Obstsalat sah abgestanden aus, Früchte waren aus der Dose. Der Fernseher war veraltet.
