We waren op onze terugreis vanuit Italy en hebben toen 2 dagen doorgebracht in Hotel Gallus in Beilngries. We zijn zeer gastvrij/vriendelijk ontvangen. De hotelkamer zag er keurig uit met een goed bed en badkamer. 'S-avonds hebben we erg lekker gegeten. Keuze uit diverse gerechten en wijnen. Maar ook 's-ochtends een erg goed ontbijt. Met andere woorden: Gallus heeft een zeer goede keuken en het is zeer aan te bevelen om enkele dagen/nachten door te brengen in dit Hotel.

Waren 2 Nächte über den Jahreswechsel 2011/12 dort. Angenehm ruhige Lage am Ortsrand von Beilngries, zwischen einem kleinen Fluss und dem Rhein-Main-Donau-Kanal. - Volles Haus, aber das Personal war souverän, umsichtig und sehr freundlich. Sehr gute Küche, vielfältiges Frühstücks-Buffet mit hausgemachter Konfitüre. Hatten über booking.com 2 x 1 Nacht nacheinander gebucht, deshalb werden wir von booking.com hier als Gäste "für 1 Nacht" gelistet.

Das gebuchte Doppelzimmer war zu klein. Soweit ich informiert bin, muß ein ausgewiesenes Doppelzimmer eine bestimmte m²-Größe haben. Auch bei einem Standardzimmer. In unserem Hotel sind die standardzimmer größer. Es war kein separater Tisch und keine Sitzmöglichkeiten vorhanden, um Fernzusehen. Man musste sich in's Bett legen. Das Bad war sehr dunkel, die Beleuchtung reichte für ein innenliegendes Bad nicht aus. Schminken fast unmöglich.

Das Servicepersonal war nett, kompetent und zuvorkommend Das Doppelzimmer war klein und dunkel. Obwohl Nichtraucherzimmer roch es nach abgestandenem Tabakrauch. Schlechter TV-Empfang und das Gerät ist auch schon betagt. Um die Mittagszeit umhüllt starker Essensgeruch das Treppenhaus und die Flure. Aus den o.a. Gründen kann ich das Hotel nur bedingt empfehlen. Zumindest nicht die Preisklasse 84 EUR (DZ mit Frühstück)
