The breakfast is excellent. It's open till 9h30 and you can take as much food as you want... There is home made fruit juice, omelet, a lot of fruits, bread, meats, marmelade, nutella, etc etc etc... The location of this hostel is pretty good too. It's a little bit far from the city but even if you don't have a car, there is a bus stop very close from the hostel, the bus goes straight to the karlsruhe main train station (line 47, stop stupferich rathaus for the hostel). There is a bus every 20 minutes even on the evenings. The room was quiet, clean and big. The staff was nice, the owner can speak english.

I was expecting it to be a bit closer to Karlsruhe. It was almost impossible to find a nearby place to get food for take out. Had to travel several towns away to get food to bring back. Quite noisy at night being along the main road.

Easy to find, clean, comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed Friday night, but there are 2 other restaurants in the village. One across the street, typical German food, and excellent. The other was Italian & we were told was around the corner.

We liked the room, it was very comfortable, bright, and airy. Even though it is on the main road, it is very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was also very good and filling for a day on the road.

The hotel was very confortable, and the service was very good, we were only passing through and stayed only one night. Breakfast was very good there was something for everyone. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who are on holiday as a nice stopover. No air conditioning in the rooms, when we stayed it was very hot, we were put on the top floor with slopping ceilings with only a small window for ventilaton. No facility to make a cup of tea or coffee, no wifi available.

We chose this hotel as its distance from Calais was about right for a one day drive and it was very close to the autobahn. It was also a good price. Our room was very clean and smart with plenty of space and the hotel provided a very good evening meal and breakfast. Contrary to another review of this hotel the menu was available in English. The hotel is made up of a number of "annexes" around a main building which only has a few rooms. This did not detract from the hotel at all as we were able to park our motorcycles right outside our room. It was only a short distance to th main building and a umbrella was in the room in case of a wet trip.

Excellent location, very good value for money. A perfect location for a one-night stay-over, close to the Autobahn. Working free internet, quiet town. Staff's ability to communicate in English is limited.

Good room, excellent parking, excellent breakfast with attentive hotelier and very convenient for the nearby motorway - Karlsruhe to Munich. Used as an intermediate stop between England and Austria. German food. Hard to relate to English eating, Majors on meat and sausage. The nearby Italian restaurant was closed on Mondays. Ate well there last year.

Just off the Autostrada and a good place to overnight before an afternoon flight from Frankfurt back to the US. It's only 125 kms from the Frankfurt airport. Very good restaurant and complimentary breakfast.

The personnel is very kind, the hotel restaurant has a good selection of regional dishes, the WiFi connection is both ubiquitous and good, the double room that was given to me was equipped with a desk, glazed windows, roll-up shutters, a comfortable and well-sized bed and a huge bathroom. The restaurant is worth a visit even if you don't stay at the hotel!
