This family-run hotel offers a bowling alley and a traditional restaurant with beer garden. It is quietly located between Limburg and Diez, on the eastern edge of the Nassau Nature Reserve. A German-style breakfast buffet is served at the Hotel Wilhelm von Nassau. In the evenings, the country-style Zum Hecker Restaurant offers hearty, local food. The welcome was fabuloso here. Although English was not spoken the formidable Frau was welcoming and friendly and we managed to get by linguistically. It is a country cabin/lodge/chalet, but large, with balconies overlooking the mountains and forests. The room was large and the three beds hardly filled it with room enough for the dining table and chairs. Wooden furniture decorated with germanic floral scrolls was quaint. We were here at Christmas and the decorations were... Well, I don't know how quite to describe them, but copious and quirky and sort of fun. Also a truly beautiful location. Credit cards not accepted so have Euro'S. If you have a feel for traditional, local, quirky and aren't vegetarian and need a hotel near the motorway, or if you ski or like walking in mountain forests this is for you! On second thoughts, if you are vege, eat the salad and chips, it's all good fresh cooked fare, and stay here anyway. We loved the location and character of this hotel.

Quiet location in a residential neighborhood with every thing nearby and within easy reach. Comfortable, spacous rooms. Breakfast offered a variety of items; so did the hotel's restaurant. I should've asked for a second pillow. My mistake.

Access good, dog friendly. Clean. Food good. Bowling alley wasn't available (on a Friday night! ) although this was one one of the main selling points of the hotel. My family were very disappointed.Facilities are a little tired - old, small TVs with few channels. Pay extra for internet.

De kamer was goed maar wel vieze strepen over de muren. Het ontbijt was sober en geen kaas!!! Vonden ze ook niet nodig voor ons en die na ons kwamen aan te vullen. Diner was ook niet om over te doen.

Wat een super en heerlijk goed ontbijt hebben wij gehad. Verder goed personeel. Spreken Duits en Engels zeer goed. Kamer was ook goed. Wij hadden een 3 persoonskamer. 1 bed is een opgemaakte bank, maar sliep erg goed. Dit is een mening, maar ik vond de kussens van het bed echt veel te zacht. Je moet er van houden denk ik, maar ik kon er niet mee slapen. Verder super hotel, met uitstekende bedden.

Uitstekend restaurant, schone kamers. Comfort op de kamer is onvoldoende: gemakkelijke stoel ontbreekt waardoor op het bed zitten noodzakelijk wordt.Verblijf aan de voorzijde (aan de straatkant, zeker op de onderste etage) is sterk af te raden: veel verkeersgeluid, waardoor slapen met geopend raam niet goed mogelijk is.

Wir waren 3 Nächte im Hotel...der Service und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter waren sehr gut. Die Lage ist gut geeignet für Ausflüge - Limburg ist sehr zu empfehlen, eine tolle Altstadt. Das Abendessen haben wir im Restaurant eingenommen, da eine hervorragende Küche vorhanden ist, zu fairen Preisen. Der Teppichboden im Zimmer sollte erneuert werden - schmutzig.

moderne Zimmerausstattung, Lage am Ortsrand Eine Busgesellschaft ließ bis Mitternacht lautstark eine Band agieren , deren Beat auch bei nicht geöffnetem Fenster durchs ganze Haus vernehmbar war. Ein Hinweis des Hauses auf die parallele Buchung oder eine Ausweichmöglichkeit fehlte.
