The first bio-hotel in Berlin with bio-certified food & beverage. Located close to Alexanderplatz with its famous TV tower, and not far from the main train station and Friedrichstrasse. "Museum Island" can be reached by foot within 5 minutes, while the State Opera House, the Comic Opera, the Berliner Ensemble, the Gorki Theater, the Synagogue and the Brandenburg Gate can all be reached with ease. The location and the greek staff member who served breakfast who was very helpful and friendly. When we arrived on Monday night at 10.45pm we were met by a nice member of staff but she gave us the wrong information about breakfast times during the week, that it was 7am until 11am. We got down to breakfast at 10.10am and the greek staff member was charming and told us that whilst we had been given the wrong information,we should still sit and eat, he offered us tea and coffee and at about 10.45 offered us more tea if we desired and apologised for the fact that he would need to clear the breakfast food away. Without his friendly and kind attitude we would have had a very disappointing start to our stay. The value for money. Even though the location is fantastic I think that 80-90euros per night including breakfast would be the correct price for this hotel.

A chairde, friends, Firstly apologies for my lack of German. The MitArt is a wonderful hotel and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming or more friendly. The design and spacy layout of our room was excellent and the location could not have been better. I would reccomend this stylish, unpretentious and relaxing hotel to anyone. The location is excellent, it is very quiet and uncomplicted It was the first time for me in a 'bio'hotel. The atmosphere at mitArt was bit office like and sterile and we were missing a bit cosiness.

Really friendly staff and very original concept. It's so much more fun when your hotel room feels like an art gallery... I appreciated the location - very central, in a lively neighborhood, but surprisingly quiet rooms. Also, having a real breakfast with bio products, excellent bread and fruits is a definite bonus.

Liked quiet rooms in courtyard.excellent location. Original art in rooms and public areas. Excellent organic breakfasts. A wonderful morning array of good food. A little pricey but worth going thge extra few euros. The staff were not very informative for sight seeing or directions_probably becausev of poor English. Or ny poor german.

Extremely courteous, welcoming, and helpful staff; absolutely superb buffet breakfast set-up each morning with delicious items to choose from - fresh, organic, healthy, and presented well! Location of hotel is fabulous with easy walking access to public transportation, restaurants, shopping, etc. My room faced the inner courtyard and nights were very quiet for restful sleep. Wi-fi availability too limited, perhaps some guest rooms with wi-fi, even for extra cost, would be helpful. Laundry machines for guest use would also be helpful.

Great location - proximity to U-Bahn, local bars & restaurants, trendy 'artists' quarter Bit hard to find - minimal signage - entrance in a courtyard (hofe) rather than direct from street

Tolles Bio-Frühstück und ein sehr netter Umgang mit den Gästen. Zentrale Lage und trotzdem ruhig. Authentisches Berliner Hotel. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist der Essensgeruch im Treppenhaus und im Cafe. Natürlich wird da Biokost gekocht - habe es aber nicht probiert. Eine bessere Lüftung oder Bioduftkerzen oder ähnliches wären sehr hilfreich.

Das Frühstück war ganz gut. Organisieren sogar glutenfreies Brot. Unangenehmer Geruch aus Abfluss in der Dusche. Hatte eines der noch nicht renovierten Zimmer.

Super hotel, idéalement situé pour faire les visites et lieu de rdv. Propre et spacieux. Nous avons vécu pendant 3jours comme si c'était notre propre "chez nous". Petit bémol mais insignifiant, la chambre est un peu spartiate mais elle reste très fonctionnelle.

Konzept , Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter und die selbst gebackenen Weihnachtsplätzchen.. Am Sonntagabend ist die Rezeption nicht besetzt. Das ist m.E. kein Problem, es wäre dann aber sinnvoll, Stadtplan und Abendgestaltungsmöglichkeiten, wie z.B. Standort eines Weihnachtsmarktes etc. auszulegen, da man diese Infos sonst an der Rezeption erthält.

die zimmereinrichtung war sehr schön. alte holzböden und alte möbel sind gut kombiniert mit moderner kunst. schöner frühstücksraum. schöner innenhof. hätte eigentlich potential... zimmerausstattung niedrigster standard, also kein fernseher, keine minibar, kein safe, kein internetzugang (nur w-lan gegen gebühr) - dafür sind 95 € die nacht viel zu teuer. auch ein bio frühstück rechtfertigt dann noch nicht diesen preis. zumal das bio frühstück in keiner weise den standards in anderen bio hotels entspricht. rezeption ab 18 uhr nicht mehr besetzt. mobilnummer für notfälle war nicht erreichbar, als wir kurzfristig abends einen kollegen noch unterbringen wollten. recht unprofessionell! da nützt dann leider auch die ganze optik nichts...

Gefallen hat uns die ruhige Lage mitten in Berlin. Der Service war sehr feundlich und familliär. Das Biofrühstück war reichhaltig, viel frisches Obst. Es war sehr hellhörig.
