Thanks for your question.Normally I book 1 bed in the room with 6 bed, but 8 people stay in the room.

Location is excellent.

It was a bit noisy and the our room was not cleaned twice.

discussing the hotel, not hostel. Clean, calm, not far from U- and S-Bahn, location is great. I should say no problem to stay here with family and chidren. Perfect money for the value.

Free wifi is just at lobby. But is it common thing for Germany :(

Value Breakfast Clean Location

Simple rooms that had everything you needed with the perfect amount of space and cleanliness.

Sometimes the size of hotel and number of people meant the character and personality of the staff resulted in it being a little bit less fun overall with no real engagement with the people there!

Not far from Alexanderplatz

A very terrible location,near derelict houses, a very strange people,like an a homeless,and people with criminal faces near the entrance in a hotel.In our room we find blood on a window and hairs in a bathroom.We live on a second floor,and every night someone drinking alcohol near our window and shouting,at 5 o'clock in a morning someone trying 2 broke the door and came in our room!!!SO We can live in this hotel only 2 days,and after we came back in Hamburg. It's a big price for this hotel! Much better live somewhere in Charlottenburg for this money! DON"T stop in this hotel!!!!! Just find someone else!!!!

I like tv. It give to feel cosiness.

I was in A&O in Dresden, and I liked it more than in Berlin. And I'm really sorry about it. Room in Dresden was better in conditioins and more comfortable.

It took a long time, until they were able to code the room card and I was able to move into my room. The rooms are poorly soundproofed, at night you heard music from all the other rooms, in the morning I heard the cleaning women. Then there was a lever on the door to be pulled down in order not to be disturbed, but apparently it didn't work, because they entered my room in the morning (they gave me a sign to hang outside afterwards). I had to switch rooms (because of a seperate booking of friday afterwards), in the first it smelled of smoke, in the second, it started to smell after some time, it seemed to come from under the door, apparently they were smoking in the other rooms. Otherwise hotel for the price ok.

Room is small, but warm. Good location till The Potsdamer Platz 30 minutes by walking, till metro station some 10 minutes, near are bus stop. Good relation cost/location.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful and it's a ok location, well connected with U8 (two stops away from Alexandar Platz).

The floor on which I stayed was quiet, but I could still hear noise and music coming from the rooms downstairs even in the evening (around 11pm), especially the first floor is really noisy.

Kompakte Zimmer, zu kleine Klos.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I accidentaly left my phone and realised when I was outside the city, they kept it safe until I organised the collection for it. I think that was nice! They have a very nice bar too, cheap and comfortable

Breakfast is very expensive, there's nothing outside the standard buffet breakfast that u get for 3 euros somewhere else.

It was a clean and convenient backpackers with some double rooms. Good shower.

While in bed we could hear the party continuing in the common room. Also, noises from the corridor travel quite easily into the room.

A&o Mitte is located perfectly between Mitte, where all the sightseeing can be done and the hip-and-happening Eastern part, Friedrichshain where youngster have their hang-outs, markets and night scene.

Not all staff, but some of them were not very accurate. Others were unfriendly or blunt. You would like to be taken seriously as a customer. When I asked to vaccuum clean the room - due to huge dust bowls that came from underneath the matrass a note was made. Although the cleaning staff left a damp cloth but no vaccuum cleaning had been done. That is a pity. The matrasses were a disaster, only 7 cm thin you could feel all the timbers in your back. Outside the sun was shining incessantly, we had a laugh about it, but it deserves improvement definitely.

Clean comfortable room with plenty of light for myself and my brother

Otgher than one lady who greeted us at the start the staff were the most unhelpful, unfriendly I have ever come across. Also paid for internet in my room, had to use in the hallway to get coverage, when I told the front desk the guy just shrugged at me and said "what can I do". This was the typical attitude of the staff towards both of us with the few questions we asked. Worst of all I left my purse at the desk when I booked the internet (totally my fault). When I rewalised in the morning I went down to see if it was there. The young man shrugged which I took for a no. I asked if he could help me he shrugged again. I presumed someone had picked up so I asked him for directions to the police staion (worst directions ever as stated by the police when I finally found) . Thinking it was gone I cancelled the card in case it got cleaned out. After long and wasted day of trying to sort all this out I got back to the hotel late and another young man at the desk asked if I had lost my purse - it had been behind the counter all day! They had my phone number and my email address and did not contact me all day. Never have I met such hospitable people and I have stayed at some pretty cheap places when I was younger. Berlin Mitte ruined three days of my holiday while I had to try and contact banks in Australia, the police, insurence etc etc when all they had to do was ring. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Relatively good communication for city centre visit. Reception staff was friendly and helpful.

Very noisy, with lots of school children shouting and running in the corridor and courtyard both after midnight and very early in the morning. Thicker window curtains are required. Bathroom wash basin was very tiny. Overall was not good price for money, at least for a single room.
