Very very noisy reception Staff very bad Difficult to get what was buy by booking (city tax included were requested!..) All the nights have to be payed at the entrance.
Location near a central station (Ostbahnhof).....but that was all ;))
It's a teenager hostel almost, therefore it was very noisy. Moreover, the door from the hall was making noise at every passage. Impossible to get a relaxfull sleep in this conditions. The room was not-so-clean. A lot of dirt and dust near the bed, and different objects beneath the bed (a clear sign that a vacuum cleaner was never there ;))) For the breakfast you are obliged to pay extra. Either way....

- big bedroom; - ensuite;
- staff attitude;
1. Value for money. 2. Comfortable beds and shower, reasonably clean.
1. Ridiculously long waits at the reception at any time. 2. We were waiting for an important package which they had had all time, but we only received it when we asked for it the third time, over a period of two days. 3. No air-conditioning. 4. Location good, but not ideal. About 10 minutes from the subway/train station.
Was shocked by the ghetto location. The picture on the net is a lie. Pulled up to the hotel and was shocked when my husband said this is it. A lot of youth drinking in front of the hotel, smoking and tossing ash, spitting without shirts on. Late at night I heard young men cat calling at women and busting beer bottles on the side of the building. Was literally afraid for my life and kept checking the door to make sure it was locked and secure. Left immediately the next morning!!!!
Very poor, sporadic wifi. Advertise parking, but none available due to construction. Since you need the reservation for parking, why not just honestly let people know it's not available?
Location was close to bus and metro, it was one station from Alexanderplatz. Room (we took a family room) was very spacious and newly renovated. There was food available until late in night and there were vegetarian options. Overall I would recommend...
It's a combination of hotel and hostel, so environment is not for families, it's safe though. There was no free internet in room. There is always a long queue at reception..
A& O offers very nice family rooms, clean with great showers.
Noisy street. Hot rooms. No kitchen. One washing machine and it was broken.
Location- It was in the range of 200-250 mtrs from 3 major U Stations. Staff- Fast, efficient, helpful. The girl in the reception patiently showed me the places to visit. Cleanliness. Luck- I paid for a bed in a 6 Bed dormitory for 2 nights but I had the full room to me with an attached bath.
They should have fans in the rooms.
All the city's sights and adventures are just at that place, there's a bus stop a few steps from the hotel, bahn station is five minutes on foot. The hotel staff is tidy and friendly. My room was quite comfortable, but there wasn't air conditioning, so I had to sleep with my windows wide-opened, the thing is the air is fresh, but the people's voices are louder than the freshness of the air :D There were 3 towels, the shower-gel, soap and all. I must add I didnt use the local (not free) wifi hotspot, because I had found very good ( free if u want) hotspot:) This is very good cafe " fritz kafe" It's a cafe-restaurant with italienisches cuisine ( very tasty) you can find there a good dinner/supper, and extremely tasty coffe!! What about Internet - you can enter to the cafe and use it, or you can sit on the stairway of the building right in front of the fritzkola!! The internet works all the time, even if the cafe is closed:) Kinda life hack for you, dear tourist;)
The staff doesn't know which underground stations are closed temporarily, don't try to help. The building ( Baustelle) is mostly everywhere you go in Berlin, so it's pretty noisy the daytime. There was no air-condition in the hotel-room The everyday cleaning is only changing waste-bucket packets. The floor wasn't hovered. And that was awful. The lift is very noisy, you'll hear it's sound at any place of the hotel building. But maybe thats just the matter of the price?))))
The price for a accommodation in big city was good. Room was clean and everything basic one could ask from a hostel was there. The family room was very tiny though.
We travelled with a fully packed car and we hoped to be able to park in the hotels car park. Upon arrival it turned out that the car park is closed because of a construction works. Almost next to the hotel there were abandoned buildings and it wasn't safe to leave the car on street. So we had to park ca 10 min away from the hotel. This is probably specifity of Berlin and could happen to somebody taking a fancy hotel as well.
The staff is helpful and direct, a 15 minutes on bike to Alexander Platz and the best of all is the food you can buy in the neighborhood, it's cheap
The fact that you must pay for your bed sheets seems bad for me
Good value for money, spacious room and good location.
There was no parking even though it was promised on the website.
Excellent value for money and location. We appreciated that several items were available for a returnable deposit at the front desk (like an electric water kettle). Definitely a large operation, but we had a good experience.
After we found out we should have used Bahnhof Ost, it was easy to get to and from.
Not many food places close by.
Central berlin - sort of. Free wifi
On a hot day, no any cooling devices. Even a small fan. They charge for bed sheet and quit cover. First time to see. Small toilet. No ventilation device in room, the room smells badly cos those shoes.
bathroom is small but fully equiped (warm water, hair drier, soap etc)
No instructions how to reach the Hostel from airports and train station in the hotel page. No refrigerator in the room.
The size and the brightness of the family room. The staff at the bar and the cleaning ladies were very friendly and helpful. The Family lounge was available to us at any time. Public transport close to the hotel
Staff at the reception were not really friendly. Internet code was not working in the room. With no kettle in the room and being on the 7th floor I had to go all the way to the ground floor to warm up my baby food. It has been a nightmare also because one of the 2 lifts you have was not working so had to use the stairs at some in all my up and down travelling for my baby food. No solution was offer to me. Lack of plugs in the children rooms is not good. We did not have the remote control for the TV. We informed the staff and nothing was done. We were missing the "do not disturb" sign. Nothing was done about it either The lack of fridge Reception and lobby very crowded and noisy
It was quiet between rooms, the location was great and the atm cash machine outside was a good plus.
Wifi only in lobby, not avail in rooms even though stated on website. Sunlight coming through thin curtains from 5am was tough to sleep through.
Very good value for money. Make no mistake this is a budget hotel, but it is very clean and comfortable. It's about 20 mins walk from alexanderplatz so the location is ideal. Breakfast was ok.
The Hotel car park has been dug up and is now a building site so good luck finding a parking space. Our room was hot and stuffy but the street noise at night was loud when we opened the windows.
Price, availability and location are ok.
The curtains in the room are too light. The hotel is too big.
Rooms were good, clean and with all necessary things for short stays. Breakfast was good for 5 EUR. Connectivity is good to Alexanderplatz with metro stop at 400 meters.
Not much to dislike, but can improve in the lift service. There were very few lifts for such big hotel.
