the fact that there was a major construction going on. you couldnot even recognize the hotel from the outside. admittedly, the inconvenience was minor. nevertheless, it should have been mentioned on the website. |

Relaxed coming & going knowing that my room, although small, had a good bed within a space that was maintained to a high standard and that should I need any useful help to my enquiries it was always there if the need arose. Very friendly staff that ensured my stay was both welcome and that I should feel at home as to my comfort. Continental breakfast was included which set me up for the coming day. The Modena Hotel being so close to the very best part of the KuDamm, eg; shopping, restaurants/cafes, entertainment & city transport services along with all its vibrant cosmopolitan action lifting your spirits allowed me to take away the very best memories. Thank you Hotel Modena! |

Very nice family hotel. Big, comfortable room; good breakfast; nice hotel staff; quite place, but near the main streets of the city. Good for shopping, restaurants and walking. There was no "late check in". Due to emergency reasons (extremely bad weather) we had no chance to check in in the hotel after midnight, hotel staff refused to wait for us, so we had to stay in motel and pay for that night at the hotel anyway. |

The hotel is located in a hundred year old building near the Kurfuerstendamm and many excellent small restaurants. Our room was off of a very quiet "innenhof". The owner was very friendly and helpful in every way. |

The staff were friendly and the lift was very quaint and old fashioned, in a good way. The location is very good, right on one of the main shopping streets, with good connections to buses and the metro. The original room we were offered was quite small with an 80's style bed. Luckily we managed to change to a nicer room. TV didn't have many channels. Each table is served with a seperate breakfast, would have preferred a walk up self service buffet. |

Well, for one night it's okay. Terrible elevator. Guest provided with four different keys: one for the main door, one for the elevator, one for the entrance to the hotel and one for the room. |
