Staff good with English and helpful. Breakfast was filling and about right choice for this level of hotel. Hotel on 2nd floor so have to use lift if unable to manage stairs. Reception not 24 hr but you have key to main door and hotel and this adds to the experience of not feeling like a full size hotel. Room was good size and bathroom was functional and stocked with towels and soaps. Good location as just off the Kudamm and if you like eating out the surrounding roads are full of various resturants and cafes. Have stayed in this size of hotel before and have always enjoyed them. Modena is a good little hotel. Bed a bit hard but asked for additonal pillow and got it. On the whole no real problems

Located on a quiet street but close to civilization, near many cafes, restaurants. Friendly unobtrusive staff. Poor soundproofing. Breakfast is targeted more for women, for men- a small selection. Located next to the expensive shops, but far away from major attractions, necessary to use transport.next to the hotel there is no mini-market, you can not buy water and the hotel does not bar

The location was great and the hotel was housed in a character building which was lovely. We were lucky to have a room wih a balcony. The hotel was situated in a lovely street but quite noisy at times as it is also near a major junction. If you happen to get a large group of people going to the Spanish resturant below like we did then it made one of our nights really noisy as they were a loud group of men hanging outside. We did not get to sleep until 2.30am onwards! The breakfast as fair but did not provide a great choice.

Charming and quiet hotel just off the Ku-damm; bus access closer than U-Bahn. Friendly and thoughtful staff, generous breakfast. Pleasing high-ceilinged room, simple but comfortable. Just as I had hoped!

- Friendliness of staff - we had a particular room with a large balcony, very pleasant in summer - very close from public transportation to go anywhere - Wi fi connection not functioning very well - service at breakfast sometimes a bit long

Reception staff are very polite and friendly (who said the Germans never smile?) and the hotel is clean and centrally located in a quiet side street. The room was fine, and had a TV, a wardrobe and en suite bathroom, and was very clean and comfortable. The bedding was changed every day and the room thoroughly cleaned too. My room overlooked the courtyard, so I had no noise at all, despite being in the middle of a large city. This hotel is centrally located in a side street just off the main shopping street of Kufurstendamm, just a step away from the luxury goods stores like Prada, Gucci, Hugo Boss and Burberry. There are lots of buses going along the Kufurstendamm, including the number 109 which goes directly to the airport. Otherwise, the hotel is quite a walk (10-15 minutes) from the nearest S-Bahn or U-bahn public transport metros. Overall I'd say it's a good option to stay here, and good value for money. The bed was too narrow, only a 90cm wide one for a single person. Even if sleeping alone, I prefer a wider bed, not one as narrow as this.

Location of the hotel is very good. Good connection to Tegel airport, and other part of Berlin. Vary nice part of town, clean, quiet and luxury. Small hotel, on the second floor of the building, more like a pension. Clean rooms, nice breakfast.Hotel is in old fashion style with ornaments. Good value for money. One of two rooms had some strange smell.

Hotel was very cosy and clean. Staff was kind and helpful and the room was very silent, which is unusual in the center of the city !!! Good value for money. Stairs to go up to 3. floor was little pit harmy( elevator was slow and needs key) after walking around the city. Breakfast could be diverse, but still it was good compering the price of the room.

Very clean room, good breakfast, good location. Some friendly staff No complaints about al the important facts a hotel needs, but I do think it was a really boring hotel. It's really a kind of place for old people, and amazing that there was no englisch channel on the televison !!

Insgesamt also sehr gut!

“The hotel was very elegant and charming. The hotel staff were all very friendly and ready to meet our special requests. The hotel was located just a few minutes walk from excellent dining, shopping, and the famous Kaiser Wilhelm church and Berlin's Europa center. Bus and U-Bahn stations were less than 100 meters from the front door. The breakfast selection was fresh, delicious, and more than ample.” Michael, St Petersburg |
