Hotel Modena am Kurfürstendamm  

Very nice and very friendly. Things like Welcome cards, stamps etc. were also available in the reception. It would perhaps be a good idea to have a notice on the wall informing of that.

Great place to stay, enjoyed it so much. For this price -perfect location, really clean and safe, absolutely friendly staff, i am definitely coming next time.

Should have a bit more facilities like providing English Channels on TV. Providing tooth paste/brush etc.

Size of room was excellent. The bathroom was very clean and excellent. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was good. The room was warm. The breakfast was adequate. BUT, see below . . .

Many things good about the Hotel Modena, BUT two big aspects let it down severely. The carpet in room 15 was awful. It needs replacing desperately. Also, the walls need a thorough repaint. With a new carpet and painted walls, I would recommend the Hotel Modena as excellent value and good location. If the carpet had been at all acceptable and the walls not very dirty, then the room could easily be worth a few more euros a night.

The location is perfect - near one of the main streets - Kurfürstendamm. There are 3 different underground stations of different underground lines in 5-15 minutes of walk and a bus stop nearby. A lot of luxury shops near the pension make solo late returns more safe because of the lightnings and security staff. The elevator and interior of the lobby is incredible! The staff is very friendly and responsive, you can ask for an advise of good restaurant or anithing else at anytime and left your luggage after your check-out for free for almost the whole day.

Poor breakfast. But only not considering that this is a pension, not a hotel. And because of this fact you need to keep with you a bunch of keys, but it is not a problem for most of the situations. Wi-Fi connection in the first day was not stabile and fast, but it was eliminated subsequently.

I came in late and they made arrangements for me and met me at the reception. The staff was helpful with all my questions. Breakfast was good. Checkout etc. was easy. The room was fine, with a washroom and toilet and shower, and I thought the price was decent for that area.

The bed was uncomfortable. It kind of sloped and that bothered my back. Also, I had asked for an extra pillow for my back but it wasn't there so that required some manipulation of the duvet so sleeping was a tad awkward. The 4 keys on the keyring was kind of a shock: elevator, door to the hotel, outside door, room door. Took a bit of getting used to.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location, on the main shopping street from Berlin, and at walking distance from the main convention center, Messe. Good acces to public transport. Nice rooms in a refurbished, cosy, classic building. Very clean rooms.

Wifi connection was extremely poor, really unusable in then rooms, a little bit better in public spaces but far from being acceptable. No juice or water at breakfast - only coffee or tea.

Localtion on a tranquile street old fashion but we enjoyed it.Tthe brekdfast was very good and the staff friendly.

Staff in exelent...location wow - close to evrything with direct airport bus line in which take only 15 minutes...room is huge...everything is very nice

It is a hotel with quite much soul and almost four meters up to the ceiling! My room and bathroom was quite nice. My room was to the backyard with a huge tree outside, so it was no noise at night, The breakfastroom was also nice with good breakfast; dark bread and white/fine rolls, ham, cheese, jam, honey, boiled eggs, cereals, youghurt, juice and coffe/tea. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Location, welcome from staff, helpfulness of staff and standard of accommodation all very good and excellent value for money. The 1912 lift is worth a stay alone!

We enjoyed the friendly and competant staff at Modena as well as the cleanliness of our room.

We were only in Berlin for a few days and Modena seemed a little out of the way from the things we wanted to see. Berlin is equipped with excellent public transport so we did manage to get around it just took a lot of time. The area itself wasn't our favorite either. It was quite fancy with Prada and Gucci shops lining the streets which wasn't really what we had come for.

Warm and pleasant staff, well located, comfortable room and nice price.

The hotel is placed in an old building and the breakfast is not very varied.

В номере было довольно прохладно

Месторасположение. Собственно, на что расчитывали, то и получили. Доброжелательный персонал, правда, не все говорят по английски, но все-равно можно объясниться и понять. Завтрак как и везде, булочки свежие. Планировали бюджетную поездку- это и получили. Просили выслать подтверждение брони отеля для получения визы, прислали без промедления после преоплаты - 50%, но нас это устроило.

- Sehr kleines Zimmer (ca. 7 qm), das Bett war nur 90cm breit - Kleiner Heizkörper, der es nicht schaffte, das Zimmer warm zu bekommen - Keine richtige Verdunkelung möglich, da die Jalousien nicht bis nach unten reichen (im Sommer unangenehm) - Relativ hellhörig - Keine Heizung im Bad; Infrarotlampe war kaputt - Fernsehempfang (DVTB) oft gestört

La chambre est propre, le chauffage fonctionne bien ce qui est fort apprécié dans cette période. L'hôtel est calme.
