“They upgraded our room so that we had a sitting room in addition to the bedroom and bath. The location was perfect if you don't mind church bells which is right across from the hotel. Their breakfast selection was huge and plenty to eat. The staff was most helpful and was able to communicate in English.”

This hotel offers its guests an in-house spa area as well as free entrance to the Oberstdorf Therme thermal baths. The family-friendly, 4-star Hotel Mohren is on Oberstdorf’s market place. The Mohren’s large rooms are brightly decorated and have a private bathroom and Wi-Fi internet. A breakfast buffet is served each morning in the Mohren hotel’s restaurant. In the evening, regional cooking is served. Homemade cake are offered for desert. The hotel has its own wine cellar with French and German wines. The spa area at the Hotel Mohren has a sauna, a steam room and a quiet area. The Oberstdorf Therme is 1700 ft away. During the summer, guests also have free use of the mountain train, and may take bags filled with maps, snacks and necessary equipment for free. The hotel staff was very informative and friendly, they took us to our room explaining everything as we went. The location is right in the center of town, and they have great discounts on spas and lift tickets just for being a guest! The beds were not as comfortable as they could have been. Also, we got some funny looks because we were a lot younger than the rest of the patrons, 20 somethings like nice hotels too!

Очень понравилось местоположение. Он реально в центре. В конце нашего пребывания поняли что ресторан в отеле самый лучший в городе и по стоимости ниже чем другие рестораны ниже уровнем. Очень хороший и приятный завтрак. Так как отправляешься кататься после завтрака, рестораном предусмотрено что каждый может сделать себе "с собой" будерброды. Приятный звон колоколов церкви напротив каждый час. Совсем не мешает. Просто супер что skipass выдается на ресепции на любой подъемник абсолютно бесплатно. Просто супер что в стоимость номера также включено 2 часа в день в местных термах. На ресепции выдают карточки для терм. Интернет бесплатный только на ресепции. В отеле очень маленькая сауна.Даже не пользовались ни разу.

Das Hotel Mohren liegt sehr schön im Herzen von Oberstdorf. Die Zufahrt/ Einfahrt mit dem Auto ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zimmer und Frühstück sind sehr gut, auch das Abendessen kann man gut dort einnehmen. Sehr gut ist die Regelung mit den Karten für die Bahnen, die den recht hohen Preis relativieren. Wir können uns vorstellen, wieder in dieses Hotel zu gehen, Z.B. für einen Skiurlaub! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, die meisten Dinge haben uns gut gefallen, D.H. die Kategorie "nicht gefallen" trifft für uns nicht zu.

Das Personal ist sehr nett. Das Hotel liegt super zentral. Alles ist sehr gut gepflegt gewesen. Tip Top auch das Essen. Leider steht das Hotel direkt bei der Dorfkirche, ab 06.00 Uhr geht der Glockenterror los. Auch wenn man früh aufstehen will, ist das der blanke Horror. Ausschlafen bis 09.00 Uhr kann man komplett vergessen. Das überwiegende Gästealter lag bei über 60 Jahren (gefühlt 100), wahrscheinlich geht das dann mit einer Hörminderung einher, die das Glockengeläut unerheblich erscheinen lässt. Mit diesem Handicap lässt sich das Hotel dann auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Allerdings darf man nur Normalgewicht haben, denn die WC-Dusch-Einheit ist echt drollig und sehr übersichtlich. Es ist doch eher ein Schrank-Dusch-WC.

Alles was goed Iets wat me wel zeer erg stoorde was, dat er geen vlaamse/nederlandse zender op de tv te ontvangen was. Wij doen vele stedentrips - golftrips in gans europa en bijna overal kan je deze zender ontvangen, zelf in Turkije.

schöne Lage im Zentrum, reichhaltiges Frühstück und Lounge, MitarbeiterInnen bemüht und meist engagiert keine Rücksicht auf Allergiker (Hausstaub, Tierhaare), keine Trennung von Zimmern mit und ihne Tierhaltung; der Wunsch nach Allergikerbettwäsche wurde erst nach mehrfacher Aufforderung (obwohl der Wunsch bereits bei der Buchung schriftlich geäüßert wurde) erfüllt; Matratzen für ein 4-Sterne-Haus absolut unzumutbar (durchgelegen und wohl jahrelang nicht mehr erneuert); die Bitte nach einer akzeptablen Matratze wurde von der Geschäftsleitung ignoriert; (Zimmerdame wörtlich: "was soll ich da machen?" das Zimmer war sehr laut, da keine Schallabschirmung zum Flur vorhanden (ich hatte das Gefühl, auf dem Flur zuliegen); Ausschlafen unmöglich.....; Fazit: das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt ganz und gar nicht, absolut zu viel versprochen, unser erster und letzter Besuch im Mohren

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und dadurch als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge sehr gut geeignet. Die Inklusivleistungen (wie Tickets für Bergbahnen, Therme etc.) werden sehr unkompliziert und kulant gehandhabt und sind ein weiterer Vorteil des Hotels. Das Hotel ist nicht geeignet für Gäste, die absolute Ruhe suchen, da die zentrale Lage Marktplatzatmosphäre und Glockengeläut mit sich bringt.

Reklamationen werden weitergelitet aber es wird nicht darauf reagiert. Das"Bad" verrdient diese Bezeichnung nicht: ein Glaskasten im Zimmer in dem man sich kaum drehen kann.
