This hotel is quiet and comfortable. the management is very friendly. position is directly opposite the station with direct link to Dusseldor city and the airport.

The hotel is small and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The building is an interesting older design, but for us that also translated into a generous sized room, with the clever introduction of a small dining table and chairs in one corner. The bathroom/shower was also sizeable and provided for a good dusch. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choices and there are a couple of restaurants and pizza takeaway nearby. There is also a Lidl supermarket within 5 minutes walk. Although there was not dedicated parking, we were able to park directly outside the hotel for free and the train station, taxi rank and bus stops opposite did offer transport options. The hotel manager did not speak english and my high school german is very rusty, but between us we managed to communicate and even get across my wife's dairy allergy amid quite animated exchanges! Our stay coincided with an exceptional heatwave (36*c) which did draw into focus the absence of air-conditioning, but a fan was helpfully provided to help us cope. Still, having the windows open also brought into play the train traffic and they do get going early.

The Monopol Hotel was quiet, safe, clean, near public transit and had a good breakfast. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend it.

Супер-расположение - до Кельна, Дюссельдорфа, Вупперталя легко доехать, Хильден прямо между ними, поезда часто ходят. Номера уютные Плохая шумоизоляция, из коридора слышны даже разговоры. На ресепшене не говорят по английски.
