Hotel Eulenkrug  

We had a good time when we stayed at the Holel. The staff were friendly and tried to help when they could. It is a little bit off the beaten track but the transport system in Hamburg enabled you to travel round. Get a group saver for the day or three days if you are travelling in a group. It costs euro 9.60 and you get it either from the 230 bus which stops outside the hotel or on the station just about 10 minutes walk away. If you need a cheap hotel this is ideal for you.

Loved the paintings of trucks on the wall, really nice touch.

If you are not a lorry driver, this is not the place for you! 4 of us booked a last minute weekend trip to Hamburg and this was the only cheap hotel we could find at short notice. The hotel is in an horrible grey industrial state, the hotel is surrounded by distribution warehouses and factories. There is no bars, no restaurants, no nothing! The hotel is a 15 minute walk from Billwerder-Moorfleet S-Bahn station, not a walk which I would recommend, as 4 females in their 20s we felt very uncomfortable walking in the area after dark - literally 2 steps out the hotel and we were wolf-whistled at, and we couldn't see who or where from so we went back to order a taxi instead... One word to describe Hotel Eulenkrug = grim!!!!

What did I like-nothing!it is the worst hotel iv stayed in-the walls were paper thin and the wall did not even reach the ceiling-this meant that we could hear every single word of next doors conversation as well as their light seeping in at the top of the wall. I stayed for 4 nights with my sister and we had trouble sleeping on every night there. The towels were not changed at all during our stay even though we left them in a pile on the floor!i had to ask at reception for towels. As well as this one of the mornings the showers were disgusting-i didnt dare walk with bare feet-and the water was unbearably cold. It is also in a very industrial area very far from the centre and a 20 minute walk from the nearest tube stop. We stayed at another hotel during our stay for the same price and we were much more impressed with that-avoid eulenkrug at all costs.

Information on booking.com did not match the hotel. Pictures showed comfort but it is above a car wash so we could not sleep and trucks going on all nigt. Room dirty and lobby shabby. Not a 3 star hotel max -0 stars. No one to talk to until after 9 in the morning and it was a big disapointment. Take this "hotel" of your list please. My children were scared there. Will never recomend this to anyone!!!!!

Sehr sauber. Abends das Personal war bemüht freundlich zu sein!

Man muss 10 euro Pfand an der Rezeption hinterlassen um Handtücher zu bekommen. Man muss bei Check-in bezahlen bevor man das Zimmer gesehen hat. Die Lage ist sehr schlecht!

Sauberkeit der Bäder

Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und die Möglichkeit in der Gruppe Preiswert ein Mehrbettzimmer zu erhalten für eine Nacht ausreichend

Sehr weiter Weg zur U-Bahn und noch schlimmer keine Möglichkeit Nachts mit dem Bus zurückzukommen. Es mußte ein teures Taxi genommen werden.

Lage inmitten des Industriegebietes Moorfleet; S-Bahn-Anbindung liegt ca. 20min Fußweg vom Hotel entfernt; Parkplatzangebot vor dem Hotel sehr dürftig; "Sauberkeit" im Eingangsbereich nicht einladend; sehr hellhörige Zimmer

Nu ved jeg da hvordan det er at overnatte I noget der er lige så småt som en fængselscelle. Desværre matcher billeder og virkeligheden ikke hinanden.
