We've read some bad reviews about this place and I don't find it that bad. Place is really close to the public transport and room was small but nice-good, comfortable bed. Receptionist knows English. We had our own bathroom and towels were changed daily. For Munich prices this was a value deal.
There was no breakfast available during the time of our stay. No shops or restoraunts around where you can have some food or coffee in the morning. Nobody was at the reception when we checked out. We just left our keys in front of the locked reception.
Public transportation station nearby.
We had very bad experience with room #2, which literary reeked of something decomposing (turned out that their bathroom plumbing is all mutually connected without proper filtering, the tub, toiled bowl, sink...). There was no one at the reception when we arrived (which was 10p.m., to be honest) so we had to go through the night with wide opened windows (note: December). When we complained in the morning, we were offered another room with the same problem. Once refused, staff (a pair of elderly people) stopped communicating in English and told us that we could go out if we wish, since they charged for all the days we booked. It was bad enough that we did that: we left, leaving paid room days.
close to subway
horrible smell in the room, uncomfortable bed, no staff at the reception, staff bad at english
Quirky dining room and great breakfast
Location near subway and bus station Nice breakfast Kind staff Wifi
Uncomfortable bed, non ortopedic.
Close to subway/train station.
A little far from city center. The building is too old.
Close to where I had my appointments, prices were friendly considering it was Oktober-Festen... It was clean.
Tacky style in the rooms, my bed was too small (I am 1,92 M / 6 foot 4 inches)
Really close to subway. Though it is not that frequent. Direct train to airport
Bad water pressure. Expensive for what I got. The housekeeping didn't even provide shampoo and soap daily and I had to ask for this. Not so nice people at reception. Not so good with english
closer to the train station, walkaway distance.
no value for money.
The location was by the underground station making access to Munich easy.
The lack of hospitality. Took payment before we had arrived. No breakfast provided that week!. Creaky and uncared for furnishings.
Great location and comfortable room.
Very traditional German b&b, no wifi in rooms and hard to communicate in English.
the always friendly service, the cleanliness in room and bath, the familiar atmosphere in a museums like (bit creepy) breakfast room
no possibility at the hotel to get a drink in the evening
Kindness of the breakfast staff Location near to the Underground
Bathroom too small
Nice rooms. Very close to train and subway. Clean.
Hard to find the staff.
It was cheap and clean. Very close to the last stop of the U bahn3 line. Easy to
The stairs are a bit squawky so you have to walk carefully. The check-in was a bit problematic as there wasn't anybody at the hotel when I arrived at noon. I had to wait 30 minutes just to check-in.
I asked for a second pillow and was told that the cleaning staff had been already. We were there another two nights and I asked if I could get one now - answer was NO. The staff still did not leave a second pillow. Toilet did not work properly and they did not want to know about it.
parking in a street near the hotel was easy
bathroom quite small, shower height adjustment disfunctional hotel invoice of a two days stay was already fixed on arrival, no willingness and capability to change to two bills for one night each payment with credit card reluctantly accepted
not expensive, free parking everywhere near the hotel
too rough sheet. too small bath room. not clean enough.
The room was small and there is no place to open the luggage. Otherwise everything is just fine.
Close to the train station, no problems parking.
Our booking included breakfast but when we went down there was nobody in sight. I thought we might have missed it as we went down at 8:55am but because it was a Saturday morning, breakfast was on until 9:30am. I knocked on the breakfast door, went around to the front bar... Not a soul in sight. I am not impressed.
Friendly service. Great location on main transport from downtown train station (Hauptbahnhof) to airport. Safe, quiet neighborhood. German feel.
I had to wait about 15 minutes at reception to get in touch with someone and get my key (it was a Sunday evening). He made up for it by being very nice, and giving me a small discount on the price.
Location in relation to transport
Toilet a bit too small
Nice room with traditional style.
Wifi is poor.....almost no signal .
Next to transport hub
Parking free for all, only available on street ,on arrival cook sick therefore no breakfast available for our stay, only close place station cafe with buns and coffee
This hotel is near the metropolitan, is situated in a quiet place and is very very nice !!! The staff is very helpful, especially the lady at the reception is very kind and available. The hotel is in an area well served by bus and metro, very close to city center and also to the town of Dachau. The room is very comfortable and the atmosphere is family. I really recommend it! :) I liked everything, both the hotel and the city of Monaco !!!!
