The Ore Mountains offer a great variety of day trip destinations. Discover the wonderful countryside via the many cycle and hiking paths. Augustusburg lies 13 kilometres from Chemnitz and is bordered by the valleys of the rivers Zschopau and Flöha.

Situated atop the 516-metre high Schellenberg mountain, the famous Renaissance castle of Augustusburg awaits your visit, with its interesting museums including Europe's largest motorcycle museum, the Ore Mountains animal and bird life museum and the coach museum.

Further interesting destinations include Scharfenstein Castle (an "adventure castle") and the picturesque Zschopautal valley.

Nepovažujem to za hotel v pravom slova zmylse, išlo o ubytovanie v súkromí - na dvore domu v jednej z troch pristavených izieb, t. j. bez personálu (iba domáca pani). Malá kupeľňa, tmavé priestory. Kerstin Group of friends Beucha, Germany May 3, 2011	Am besten hat uns die Lage und die Ruhe gefallen und das man von Ihrem Hotel aus schnell ins Zentrum und auf die Augustusburg gelangt ist. Die Wirtin die dies betreibt ist ein wenig durcheinander und ihrer Arbeit nicht mehr gewachsen, z.B. bei dem Frühstück musste man lange auf den Kaffee warten, die Wurst und der Käse zum belegen waren ausreichend, jedoch fehlte etwas frisches wie Gurke auf dem Teller. In dem Zimmer war oberflächlich alles sehr sauber, aber in den Ecken, also die gründliche Reinigung fehlte, z.B. war der Toilettenpapierhalter sehr staubig. Zu der Gartenanlage haben wir auch etwas zu bemengeln, denn diese war sehr ungepflegt und schon verwildert nicht wie auf den Bildern es abgebildet war. Did you find this review helpful?	6.3
