This is a great hotel – good value for money, friendly staff, clean and functional. The rooms are not huge, but they are very well designed and the soundproofing is great. There is no phone, minibar or kettle in the room. However, there is a TV, desk and free wifi. The breakfast at 7.5 Euros per person is very good value for money, but I would suggest eating early as the queue for breakfast after 8.30 was long – this was, however, at the weekend and may not be such a problem on a weekday. The metro station is just outside the door making getting into the city easy. Car parking under the hotel at 11 Euros a day was also very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

The housekeeping knocked on our door at 9 30 asking us if we were leaving. Afterwards our room key would not work.

No fixed prices, as soon as there are an important event around they do increase the room rates, kind of greedy management

Very nice design hotel, close to the Skt. Georg nightlife and 10 min. by foot to the centralstation. Clean and nice rooms with Löwe television. Nice view over Hamburg.

It was clean not overpriced and the location was next to the u-bahn and bus stops.

Great location just one U-Bahn station from the Hauptbahnhof. Despite being next to a busy road we could not hear the noise - the place appears to be sound-proofed. The whole place is nice and very modern.

Breakfast is overpriced. You could cross the road and go to a cafe that'll feed you for half that. We also had the cleaning lady come into the room while we were still in bed. This is really not acceptable.

This was my first time in Hamburg. The hotel is well designed, in a good and safe area and the transportation is good. It's just one station to the main central station. And the price is very good. It looks like you are staying in a 5 star hotel.

The staff is great here, and when I had to run out from the room and find a lady to help me zip my dress for a wedding I was going to and found a lovely cleaninglady who helped me with it and with a smile too! Thanks.

The hotel location was just in front of the U-Bahn. This made it really easy to drag my luggage around. Apart from that, it was only 20 minutes away from the main train station by foot. The room was very clean and comfortable. I slept really well at night so no complain regarding the room.

The room view is nothing much.The room i had faced the office building so during the day make sure your curtain is closed.

The hotel was pretty good, staff was friendly, rooms were modern and clean and the location was pretty good, next to the metro station and one stop from central station.

You have to pay €5/day for wifi in your room if you don't take breakfast... Which is odd; we're in 2012, wifi should be included in the price.

Close to Alster + Metro

At Breakfast time a little bit busy. Some places (chairs+ tables) not adequate for breakfast.

Booking in good, staff excellent. Clean and designed for simple a stay in a city. Under hotel parking. Shower and toilet very good but small.

Walking through St Georges district (not a good district) from the city center to get to the hotel. Room small for a double occupation, no where to put bags. Use the hotel up the road for an evening meal.

Just one U-Bahn stop from Hauptbahnhof,very clean and tidy,friendly and helpful staff,plentiful breakfast and although there are 18 floors the lifts went like rockets.This Hotel has been described as boring,what did the reviewer expect?Pole dancers on his or her arrival?!!!.Ignore negative or stupid remarks such as those,i have been using Hotels in Hamburg for 14 years and i can assure any traveller that this one is one of the best budget Hotels in the City.

Location is great, next to metro stop, but neighborhood is kinda dodgy.

The terrible muzac in the lobby and restrooms, the wannabe-hip interior, the trying to make money out of wifi and the overpriced breakfast - that is about it...

Rooms finished nicely but far too small.

The rooms are extremely small - and there are no facilities at all in the room - no tea/coffee making, no fridge etc etc. Too small for our liking - they were so small that they felt claustrophobic. Far better to stay at the SuiteHotel next door and get a good sized room with tea/coffee/frisge etc!

It was a very clean, pleasant hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I wished I had known that Motel one was in so many cities. I would have stayed only with Motel One. Thanks
