Motel One München-Garching

This is our 2nd time at Motel One. It is a great place when flying out of Munich's airport. My cousin and I stayed two nights; one night to pack and one night to enjoy the area. Easy access into the Alt Stadt on the train or by car. We paid the 5e to park our rental car nightly which was cheaper than other places. The rooms are large and in nearby Garching, there is a wonderful Gasthaus restaurant. Just ask the front desk where it is. We will stay at this hotel every time we fly out of Munich. We didn't try the breakfast.

Just some light noise from patrons playing fussball late one night, but it was manageable. Good location, though.

New and design concept hotel. Bed & breakfast type. Small but very nice. Good value for that money.

I am profoundly deaf and the motel staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Thanks to them I enjoyed my stay more than I expected to do.

There were no coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms. I would have loved a cup of English Breafast tea but there was none available.

The room was really comfortable and stylish. I really appreciated the bathroom, especially the shower. The building is really modern. I really appreciate my stay there.

Closeness to the train to go into Munich.

We needed an inexpensive hotel near the airport and Motel One Muenchen- Garching was our choice. We were surprised when we arrived at how expensive looking the hotel lobby was. Our room was spacious, clean, and we could open the windows for added fresh air. We were given a list of local restaurants and we chose one in nearby Garching. The meal was very good flavor wise and price wise. We did pay a small fee for parking, but it was well worth it with the elevator. This is a great stopover coming/going to the Munich airport.For the price and location, this cannot be beat.

Spotlessly clean and functional rooms, Friendly and attentive staff, good price and a value breakfast - also location adjacent to U bahn station.

No minibar in the room. Small room. Loud airco. Advance payment required .... means that you get a seperate ticket for every drink or snack at the bar instead of one invoice. No healty food available, just snacks, and no restaurant nearly. Additional payment for Wifi. Long waithing time at the elevators.

I really enjoyed my stay and the staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were everything you could want and the price was very very reasonable thank you

New motel on the u-bann line on the edge of Garching. Clean and comfortable, modern decor.

rooms are very small with limited storage, which was a challenge when staying as a couple for 5 days. No problem for single travellers!

Excellent! Good value for money.. Friendly and helpful staff.. Good rich breakfast.. S-Bhan right outside the hotel and take you straight to the centre. last train at 2:34am. Beautiful and well designed room - i would say POSH. Defo recommended to mature/young couples.. Overall good experience!

Well, there were no shops/pubs around. I would say quite dead area but hey you are on holidays and you want to visit the city and at the end of the day you want to go back to a hotel to relax and have a good night sleep.

The location was fine for goign to Garching but it is quite far from the centre of Munich

Hotel erreicht man nach 5 Min. von der Autobahnabfahrt. U-Bahn fährt direkt vor dem Hotel ins Zentrum der Stadt. Nettes Personal. Ausreichendes Frst. Tiefgarage für 5€/Tag. Matrazen, Decken und Kopfkissen sehr gut. Badausstattung sehr gut.

Im Hotel gibt es keine Küche - kein Abendbrot.
