Great location and comfort, yet breakfast might be a bit various (no warm dishes like omelet or sausages)
No amenities of any kind!
Location - well, that was a reason to go for it.
Misleaded by the fashionalble design, the motel remains the motel, especially in the field of services - poor breakfast and unpleasant staff. And very small room!!!!
Great value, excellent location, very clean room with really comfortable bed
Air conditioning cannot be altered and the room was a bit hot
The location. The super confy bed. The quite and silent (almost soundproof) room
There should be some hot breakfast options (like scrmbled eggs) and, considering it's very often fully booked on the weekends, they should provide more staff at the front desk/reception. It has happened that I had to wait more than 10 minutes to leave or take luggage or for asking a very simple information.
The rooms are small with nowhere to put your cases and very little hanging space.
Stayed for 5 days at the end of October and couldn't have asked for better accommodation in Munich. Right next to Sendlinger Tor and an abundance of cafes and restaurants. Friendly, professional staff and well appointed rooms. We had a baby crib in the room as well and there was still enough room to stay comfortably. We booked early in the year so we received a great rate of under €100 per night which is fantastic for a hotel of this quality. Breakfast was very good for only €7.50.
Very clean room and modern. Location close to city center.
Cost exclude breakfast.
Fast check in/out Very friendly and competent staff
No working table in the room, no space to store shirts
Great value for money, location, staff and bar.
Rooms are basic, but very clean and exactly as advertised.
The hotel is in a good district close to the shopping and restaurants. The rooms are small but, very well planned. The beds are clean and comfortable. We will definetly visit Motel 1 again.
Location close to railway station from airport and the old town. Good choice of restaurants within walking distance. Good breakfast. Clean and modern.
The double bed had two separate mattresses and duvets, so it wasn't very romantic for our wedding anniversary trip!
Location. Only 10 minute walk to Marian Platz. Lots of restaurant within less than 5 minutes. Very clean. In a very safe area with lots of boutique shops and a supermarket.
Room is basic. No closet space just a rack to hang clothes. Very small room. Toiletries are bare minimum. We were there in October and the room was hot with no air conditioning. Had to keep the window open all night.
Great breakfast layout; hotel very quiet, good insulation between rooms; beds were very comfortable, overall - very nice.
Room was just abit too warm for us; we turned heating rheostat to OFF, but still had to open window wide for coolness. The comforters are great, except they are either on or off. If a top sheet were included, the sheet could then be used to cover upper body when too warm.
Breakfast Location Confort
location and comfort
noise from the street if you had to leave the window open for circulation of air
All, location, brand new facilities, very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast, price, nice bar at lobby, very good atmosphere in the evening
locality cleanliness good and varied breakfast friendly staff helpful staff
Clean room, sheets, toilet. Really good hairdryer. Friendly and helpful staff.
Room a bit small.
Everything was fine, clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful.
nice bar area easy to find
chaotic poor breakfast no wardrobe rooms too small garage too small and fully booked!
Location - right off the Sendlinger Tor S-Bahn so it was excellent for using the subway system. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Clean and comfortable.
This hotel had a really convenient location to the old city center as well as public transportation hubs. Our room was very quiet, which led to really good sleeping. We never heard other guests, not even in the hallway. The breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of breads, meats, cheeses, jams, eggs, fruit, as well as coffee, tea and juices. Well worth the additional fee. We must have had one of the newly remodeled rooms. It was immaculate. The wi-fi was good.
The only thing that was a problem for us was the lack of a phone and an alarm clock/radio. We were looking for a backup alarm, so we wouldn't miss a very early departure for a flight, couldn't figure out how to set any alarm on the TV (although that might have been possible), and could not request a wake-up call, because there was no phone. Although we would have liked to have had access to a phone in our room during our multi-night stay, the lack of these would have been no problem if we hadn't been staying here the night before we were leaving Germany. And, as it was, we were up in time.
