very well situated, excellent price-quality relation, flexibility, helpful staff, clean, just the minimum provided but with a max of comfort, perfect for a short term

wouldn't be to recommand for longer stay, as there is no real closet or wardrobe in the room.

My wife And I live this chain of hotels. We have stayed at this location a half-dozen times and we will keep coming back. We tell everyone we can about our little getaways at the motel one saarbruecken. There is shopping, theater, parks, biking and sight seeing. No matter if you're in Frankfurt, weisbaden, Stuttgart or Saarbruecken .... We recommend the motel one.

We would live to hold a couple retreat here but no conference room.

Good location, adequate room and amenities. Excellent for design buffs. Excellent and cheap (€ 7.50) breakfast buffet. Friendly, helpful staff (except one).

The underground parking was full, so had to park in the municipal parking about 300m away, costing an extra € 15 for the night. The receptionist when I arrived had an attitude which did not make me feel welcome.

Central location, attractive modern design (especially if you like cyan), trendy lounge bar, friendly and professional staff, good breakfast at a reasonable price.

Rooms are not particularly large.

Hotel was fancy, especially given the price. It was right in the city centre. Breakfast was quite ok. We were first given a room that smelled cigarettes, but after mentioning this at the reception staff apologised and we got a room without smell.

We had to wait quite a bit at the reception before we were helped. Most of the time there was only one staff member around, who was also sometimes responsible for the cafeteria.

The hotel is very near the Saar river and the old part of town, in a nice location. The main train station is a bit of a distance, thus I took a taxi for maybe 6 EUR, since I had heavy luggage. Otherwise one could just walk in maybe 20 minutes. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the facilities were all clean and well maintained. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. The room was large for a single, and the bed very comfortable. It was rather warm in the room at first, but that could be quickly fixed by opening the window.

A bit far from the city center, on the other hand very near the old town, the river and the Papal Basilika. A bit pricey compared to others in town, or in the other small towns nearby.

Its right in the city center. The central square and shopping street is right behind. Its very new and clean. Its good value for money.

The hotel is very clean and nice modern designer. The staff is very professional and nice.

Love the fact the entire building is no smoking! The shower was wonderful -the adjustable head equivalent to a very expensive hotel. Right near all of the restaurants and bars; not far to all the major city sights too.

I wish I would have seen their email saying their parking was all booked (we were travelling and I didn't have internet access); in it they told us to go to the Staatstheater parking with an address. Unfortunately, my navigation didn't have that parking lot so the first night we wound up parking in the Karstadt parking and had to walk down a ton of stairs (with luggage). The Staatstheater had an elevator and was only 1 Euro more per day (very much worth it!)

Spotlessly clean, comfortable hotel with vibrant decor and at very reasonable prices. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Lots of restaurants, bars etc with a great atmosphere, that were right on the doorstep. Would highly recommend.

only positive conclusions from this hotel

Stayed here overnight as a stop over. Dog was welcome for 5 euros. Height restriction on car park couldn't,t get our grand voyager with roof rack in had to park on street. Ideal as a stop over as it is right by all the bars and restaurants. Clean and quiet.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but clean.

There was no air conditioning in the room. There also was not a hot pot to heat up water for morning tea or coffee. A couple of extra pillows for the bed would have been nice. Also, wireless internet is only available for free in the lobby with a voucher. I feel this should be inculded in the room. I also think that breakfast should be inculded with the room.

Very helpful staff

Strictly a hotel for 1 night only on business. Not suitable for holiday stay as no wardrobe space. Rooms generally too small. Wash basins not designed for storing water but have to wash and shave in constant running water - very wasteful.

The hotel is new and very clean, perfect location - quiet in the heart of the city - comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, they even had vegetables which we appreciate particularly.
