シュテルンサンチェ駅に近く散策を楽しむ事が出来ました！

ハンブルグ中央駅から約15分（U3で7駅程）の駅真ん前にそびえ立つ城の様な円柱ビルです、外観と内観も- 凄くお洒落なデザインホテルです。 日本では惣菜等で有名なスイスの老舗がホテルとレストランを展開しています。 レストランの朝食もさすがに多種多様で美味しいです。 ビジネスセンターはとても快適でInternet access free またLufthansaのOn-line thicketのプリントアウトなどスムーズに出来ました。

部屋の温度調整が基準の±３度の範囲でしか出来＋3度に設定しても少し寒感じました（ヨーロッパ人にとって- は快適な温度設定範囲かも知れません）

オシャレなホテル、中もよくデザインされていて快適だった。 ドアマン、ポーター、フロントをもう少し充実させれば５星にしてもいいくらいだ。 朝食も約２千円で高いと思ったが、ものすごく充実していたので、相応だと思う。 近くに駅があるが、港へはタクシーでも１０ユーロ以下、歩けないこともない距離だった。 また、ハンブルクに行った際には、ぜひ利用したいと思う。

An excellent location in a trendy part of town. Handy for the u-bahn and easy to get into town. The rooms have good facilities and are clean.

There isn't much to the hotel really. A fairly nice but small lobby. a dark and claustrophobic bar. No free wi-fi and actually rather pricey.

Rooms were too futuristic for us and the general nieborhood, near the hotel, was not too good

Well-trained, competent and friendly staff. Cleanliness and comfort. Architecture and design. Excellent food and wine. The calm atmosphere. Location and view.

The unique and distinctive architecture of the hotel built in a converted water tower. The breakfast service was excellent with wide variety of foods. A first-class hotel.

The only thing that prevents me from giving an Excellent grade to the staff was an unpleasant experience I had with one of the bartenders who was somewhat pedantic (to put it mildly) in correcting a couple of minor mistakes I made when I tried to speak to him in German. I realize I have a long way to go before I'm fluent; I'm still learning the language. To be entirely fair, all the dining and desk staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay.

Great conversion of old building which made it interesting to stay in. Nice bar - great staff. On giving details while checking in they noticed it was my birthday. Not only gave us free prosecco in bar that evening, when I returned to room later I discovered they had left me a birthday cake. It is a long time since I have been treated as a valued customer in such a nice way - will go there again and recommend it to others wholeheartedly, real customer service.

Location is great. I like the atmosphere and the set up. It is after all hotel in old water tower. They were kind enough to check us early.

Rooms are a bit dark due to small windows. The hotel asked me up front if I want two single beds or a double, but did not respect my selection at the end. Staff seemed to be very busy (both reception and restaurant).

Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Fast internet, although I would prefer it included in the room cost.

Waling path from hotel to University district remained snow and ice covered for my entire stay. Perhaps the hotel could put pressure on the park, where the hotel is located, to clear the path.

Me and my girlfriend were at a bit of a loss as where to stay during our hamburg trip until we saw the Movenpick Hamburg hotel. The pictures drew us in to start with, what an impressive structural hotel that impressed even more on arrival. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and check in was very easy, made you feel very at home. The superior room was very impressive, suitable size for two and a very reasonable price when compared to the standard room. It had a very nice bathroom, large double bed, hot drink facilities, tv (not used once, the city and hotel provide far more entertainment), safe, minibar and more than enough hanging space. There wasn't an iron but the staff were more than happy to provide one, i asked on the way out to explore hamburg and it was waiting when i got back, very impressed. We chose to stay in for two nights, one night spent getting room service which arrived in no more than 20 minutes, amazingly cooked and a very reasonable price and the other was spent in the restaurant. The hotel had an offer for two on which we took advantage of, and it was by far the best meal i've had when i've been out, the food was delicious and the staff were extremely attentive. The cave bar has a happy hour every evening which is definitely worth a visit, a wide range of cocktails and friendly staff in an amazing environment. We have already planned to go back and are saving up for the tower suite!

The only downside was the distance to walk from the hotel to the areas we explored in hamburg but then on the last day we found a train station 2 minutes walk away, don't make the same mistake (although in the summer the walks would be very nice)

Staff were very helpful, particularly in resolving a travel problem.

The style of the hotel it's relaxing friendly and helpful staff and the location is easy to main tourist areas

Marvellous hotel in a park a slight distance from the city centre, but conveniently located just across from an U-Bahn station. Very comfy. And the staff were sweetly tolerant of my attempts to speak German.

Everything is perfect.

Internet is a bit expensive. I also didn't try breakfast there so can't say anything about it... but there are several perfect places for breakfast in surroundings.

A very neat and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Good location, right opposite S Bahn station.

The lift is very slow. Paths around the hotel very icy, steep and slippy.

Proximity to railway station and many good and cheap eateries in Sternchance.

On our second stay we were offered a "superior" room on floor 8 because a "standard" room (floors 6 and below) was not available. This room was exactly the same as our previous standard room on floor 6 except for the slightly higher elevation, possibly heating the bathroom floor and a coffee maker. For us the only significant difference was the coffee maker for which we paid a premium of about 100 Euros, which translates into about 50 Euros per cup of coffee which to me was exceptoinally poor value for money.

The design of the hotel was extraordinary.

The air quality in Hamburg was poor due to industry.
