The feel of a small family type hotel. Location is few minutes from the main square with U-Bahn.

Rooms could be more cleaner, lot of dust under the bed, but the main flaw are the ultra thin walls - you can hear people snore, footsteps etc.

If you love art then you will love the colorful walls and different types of artwork throughout the hotel.

Breakfast was not impressive. No fruit. Not much of a selection. We woke up to heavy snow and we were not impressed that the steps and walk way/parking lot was not cleared. Very dangerous walking with our heavy suitcases to get to parking we had to pay for. Also very rushed out of our rooms after asking and approved to be able to say a couple hours later to check out. I would not use this hotel again.

Staff very helpful and nice. Room was clean and functional. Good value for money and location not bad.

One of the beds was a fold out an the room was fairly basic, suited our needs though.

It's a simple hotel with simple small rooms. With simple breakfast and good enaught stuff. Without a lift. Situated in about 14 euro by taxi from citycenter. Taxi parking is nearby. Don't wait from this hotel more then just sleeping.

Hotel is situated in a nice place. It has a good price. Hotel isn't far from underground station and not far from center.

We were 3 persons. Rooms are too small. It is enough just to come in the end of the day for sleeping. Meubles and equipments are very old. And the greatest dissapointment: manager asked to pay by cash. This was unexpectedly because in booking form payment by card was allowed

Staff and rooms

Historic, quaint, staff very personable as well as knowledgeable. The breakfast delicious with a variety of cheeses, rolls, cereals,and meats. Along with eggs, cake, juice, coffee, and yogurt. nicely dresses dining area. Room was just right for one. Clean and simple.

This Hotel is Horrible.. Rooms are not the same as in the pictures.. There is a refregerator in one room but there is no refregerator in another room.

In a very small room they put an elementary sofa as bed for our children. There were no refregerator and no air condition.We couln't sleep all the night. Door of the shower was broken and we informed the staff about this but unfortunately next day a lady said that you have broken this.. Fortunately staff told her the truth. Main problem is this: Rooms are not in equal quality. All informations about the hotel in the Internet is wrong. We were two families and after staying one day out of three days, we moved to another Hotel. But they got full price of 3 days. Two family paid 800 Euros for this visit to Hotel Galleria , although we stayed only one day. They said that it is unrefundable. So we paid extra money to another Hotel for the rest of our holiday. There were no Internet connection. We will never go at this hotel again and we strongly advise you not to go to this Hotel. Acommodation were completely unacceptable.

The building is nice and in a good position (600m walking distance from the nearest underground station, direct connection to Marienplatz). The breakfast was very good and the hotel staff was kind and attentive, and able to speak quite a few European languages (for sure English, Italian, French and possibly more)

Our bathroom was extremely small

Easy going, near to transport links, Cheap. Staff helped get extra coat hangers and plug for sink! Comfortable bed. Staff helpful and friendly. Room cleaned well. Nice pictures on wall. Would stay again. We rearranged table in room to store suitcases but staff offered to store them, but as living out of declined. Nothing ever taken despite leaving money, cameras, cards around. Breakfast good and clean and staff helpful and attentive.

A bit noisy sometimes with windows open due to road but not too bad just close window or turn up tv, never kept us awake. Room a bit cramped but for price and with 5 in room what do you expect. Only real problem was lack of draw space as we took too much. One wardrobe and a couple of draws so lived out of suitcases. Not a luxury hotel but not a luxury price tag either. Only thing really would have liked was a safe. Was a bit worried about tv balanced on top of wooden unit containing Fridge but it didn't fall off despite being bashed into heavily a few times by kids.

Me and my friends stayed at Galeria 4 nights. The rooms were nice and clean, with good beds, and the breakfast was excellent. The location is good, metro station and a greek restaurant within walking distance. Special thanks to Frau Schweiger, which halped us with Newschwanstein ticket reservations.

I like to run and loved the fact that the hotel is so close to wonderful running/hiking trails and the Isar. The front desk staff Cornelia, & Thomas were really friendly and gave tremendous recommendations for food and local attractions. The Alter Wirt restaurant recommendation was spot on!

Our room was tight, the bathroom smaller (had to step outside to change my mind kinda small) but the thing that I liked least of the room is that it had been smoked in and the smell had permeated the rug and furniture. - It was clean but the smell remained.

We got a room that should have been taken out of service for rebuilding. Our children were offered an ordinary sofa as bed. Installations in the bathroom were about to fall out of the wall, the wall itself was in so poor shape that the tiles were about to fall out due to water damage in the piping in the wall. We will never go at this hotel again. During breakfast power were cut for several hours. Residents had to finish breakfast to candlelight. Acommodation were completely unacceptable. We were offered a new room after staying 2 out of four days, but no pricecut as compensation. We asked to cancel the rest of the stay after the first night - but this we couldnt. We would have moved to another hotel immedately if possible

This hotel is a a homily place with warm employees. The rooms may not be very spacious but I think for the price you pay its fair.

Is very friendly staff and good location in the city you can chose any way to city trip or walking in Munich - good to travel with young children - good location for plan the travel outside of Munich - in the near you can find Neuschwangau - Himmersee - Neuswanstein and C.A. recommended you

Bad smell in the room. The owner tried to charge us for a tripple room even if they had put an extra bed that was broken. Small old room. Breakfast poor with no vegetables or fruit. 2 kind of white bread only. Very noisy with a big road outside. Not very suitable for familys.

Comfortable room, good filling breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. It was also good value.

The emploees are wery kind. Clean rooms. Nice location, car parking, good breakfast. Beautiful renovated old building. Also good for the famyly with smal kids.

We chose the hotel because of its location, close to the motorcycle rental business we were using. The breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is very tired and shabby, in urgent need of refurbishment. Overpriced for the facilities it offers and its location.

Great staff who went out of their way to help and great value for money seeing especially as Munich is an expensive city. Its a nice little boutique hotel about 20-25 min using public tran from Marionplatz and the main trani station.

Excellent and friendly english speaking staff The location of the hotel is very close to U bahn and near the Zoo Traditional building with nice attics Breakfast was simple but delicious Clean Rooms, smoking if available (I' m a smoker)

No free WiFi anywhere, you have to pay a lot of money via third party company. A little discomfort during our first day, we had to stay in a single room with 2 beds because of previous guests delay. (Price was the same anyways)
