We liked our room and the breakfast was rather good (products were very fresh and tasty) It was rather cold in the room though the heater was at max position. We lived in the separate building, so it was a little bit uncomfortable to dress in the morning and go into the street to have breakfast in the breakfast-room of the main building. |

I have stayed at the other A&O in Munich in 2008 so this was fairly similar in most respects. Once again clean and basic accommodation and thats all I required. The breakfast was good included in the price. Distance to hotel is indicated on website as 200m from the HBF but I would say it is more like 400- 500 metres. The location to the HBF is handy. I would recommend this hotel for budget priced clean accommodation in good location. |

Good value for money and did not expect much more given the price paid. Family room was very spacious and bathroom amenities excellent.Budget hotel located in an excellent position close to train station and city attractions. Bunk bed for children was noisy and kids preferred to sleep on mattress on the floor. |

It is near from the Munich central station and central city of Munich. A lady in the reception always talk with her friends on the phone. I must wait to hung up her phone when I ask her something. If there are more kinds of bread on breakfast, it would be better. It was not enough just two or three kinds of bread for breakfast. |

Great location, very central for other public transport or to the city centre. Easy to get to from airport / train / bus etc. Great value for money, great breakfast buffet, room and hotel clean and comfortable. Would have liked some coffee/tea making facility and/or fridge, but it was not advertised to have these, so that's fair enough. |

Location is good. Near Muchen main train station with reasonable room rates. Reception was acceptable.Short and pleasant enough. Rooms reasonably clean. Would recommend this hotel if one is not too fussy. The morning breakfast waitress/kitchen helper/cook? I do not know what they call her over in the hotel but she was the one and only running the show serving/ensuring food -breakfast ready on the table. First night stay, the girl was good. You can see she is friendly, hard working and helpfull. The second one was only interested/busy chatting with friend( for the other 3nights I was there!) The only minus/disability to the hotel. Though she is not local but.... She still represent a&o Munchen Hauptbahnhof germany! |

Good location - a 10 to 15 minute walk to the train station. A bargain - we paid 55 Euros for two people and that includes a very adequate buffet breakfast. The two-star hotels I researched were much more than that, and even the Meinenger Hostel was 30 Euro more per night. There are two PCs in the lobby for internet access at an affordable price (the option I used was 4 Euro for 2 hours) -- or you can pay a small fee for wireless access (available just in the lobby/breakfast area I think). At least 75% of the people there were mature adults and some families. Request a room in the back building to get a balcony and less street noise. Front desk is always staffed, but by only one person. They are young and the competency level varies greatly. All spoke good English. Although the hotel was recently refurbished, in our room a mirror was cracked, the wood verneer floor had buckled in one place, the bathroom sink was cracked and the toilet was not bolted to the floor (and rocked badly when we sat on it). I reported everything but got the impression nothing would get repaired soon. No phones in rooms and TV has only German channels. |

this hotel is like a budget hotel, located in the downtown, low fare for the beds. but don't expect too much service there. checkin time is strictly 4pm. there is usually a long line at the reception. for room for breakfast is too small. so you always have to wait. |

I liked the proximity to the Hauptbahnhof, which made easier the access to all subway lines and to the airport's S-bahn line . The check-in time was at 4pm (what is terrible for travelers that arrive in the morning, like me), and after waiting since 10am, I faced a dirty room. They apologized and gave my another room, but again it was not yet cleaned. So, I had to wait until 5:30. Check out time was at 10am, so I imagine that they had plenty of time to clean the rooms. |
