Hotel National  

Very good allround with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was excellent and beautifully presented. The room was comfortable and the heating powerful. Five minutes walk to the railway station and ten minutes to the old city and to the Bus central station. Large and small supermarkets all around.

Great location, only one block from the train station and shopping mall. Parking available within a block. The room and bath were very spacious and very clean. The beds and linens were very comfortable. Even though the room was on a main street, it was very quiet and peaceful. There were several places to get food on directly beside and across the street to get food and others within a block either way. There was a Schlecker next to the hotel which was very convenient for those forgotten items.

The baby cot provided free of charge was not in good condition and not comfortable enough for our 2 year old child. The pillow and blanket were nice, however the matress was broken. She had to sleep in the bed with us. The rouladens were all broken and the window coverings did not block out all of the light of the city streets at night and the morning sun woke us earlier than we would have liked.

Wi-Fi included in my nights stay at no extra charge and accessible from my room. Breakfast was delicious with friendly staff.

Parking was hard to understand if I was allowed to park in the parking that was reserved for Hotel National or not.

Close to railway station

Had an early train, night receptionist was not very clued up.

Room facility, room are old and beds so uncomfortable for sleeping :((

It was clean, the staff was great, and they had a fantastic breakfast.

It was very loud at night due to a bar located just across the street.

I had a room facing the main street which is quite noisy during the night. Without the AC it was either very hot or noisy with open window.

Room wallpaper a bit shabby

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage um in die Altstadt zu kommen. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter und eine große Auswahl am Frühstücks-Buffet.Es ist müssig jetzt noch die Parkplatzsituation zu bemängeln-denn die sind im gesamten Altstadt Bezirk die absolute Mangelware.
