high quality staff, fine room, good breakfast, very good restaurant, handy location (to drive out into Mozel valley for walks and for runs round park and along Mozel), very good free spa facilities |

Staff were very attentive, the room was spotless and very comfortable, the dining area overlooking the park was very pleasant especially in the evenings. The restaurant although slightly more pricey than others in the area was very good. |

Nice, peaceful setting. There happened to be a children's festival taking place the weekend we were there, so plenty for our daughter to do! The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were lumpy as well. |

The food was excellent value & the view of the park from the restaurant was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly & efficient. Lack of tea / coffee making facilities in the room - much the same in the rest of Germany! |

Amazing! You could easily spend your holiday entirely at the hotel, but if you've never been to Trier, you can also walk into the city to visit the sights (about a 15 min walk). The hotel's setting on the park, with its rose garden, pond, swans, ducklings, etc. is idyllic and romantic. The sauna spa that is free to guests is well worth the visit, make sure you leave enough time to fully enjoy it. The hotel restaurant serves delicious, fresh food that we'd wished we'd had more room for (the servings are generous). The house-brewed beer is also a must! The breakfast that is included is pretty standard, except for the sparkling white wine (sekt) that they offer, which gives it a special touch. |

Very clean ,nice decor in the room and hotel in general.Lovely setting overlooking the park and lake.Great breakfast with lots of choice. Not all rooms have a nice view,and overlook car park. |

good service and a very good breakfast (big variety). Although the hotel itself is very good, we didn't like the location, from the pictures on Internet it seems that hotel is situated in the middle of the park and you have beautiful nature all around. Well, there is a park, but it is just a normal public park where some local people come to drink beer in the evening as well. |

Lovely, comfortable hotel set in parkland on outskirts of Trier. Had booked a single, but on arrival was allocated a roomy, spacious twin, with equally large bathroom with walk-in shower. Only stayed one night, but found all staff to be most friendly and welcoming. Impressive buffet breakfast was served in airy, pleasant dining room. |

Begrüßung war sehr freundlich und angenehm. Der Empfangsbereich war auch sehr einladend und gemütlich. Das Zimmer war schön und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Bad war modern und sauber. Wellnessbereich war sehr angenehm, mit einer wunderschönen Dachterrasse. Hotelgäste erhielten kostenfrei eine Leih-Wellnesstasche mit Handtüchtern, Bademantel und Badelatschen. Schöner Service! Das Frühstücksbuffet war super! für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei, leckere Rühreier, frisch gepresster Saft, frisches Obst, Personal sehr freundlich! Das Zentrum (Porta Nigra) ist bei einem gemütlichen Spaziergang entlang der Mosel in ca. 30-45 Minuten erreichbar. Der Bus fährt jedoch auch direkt vom Hotel ab und benötigt höchstens 5-10 Minuten bis zur Porta Nigra Wir haben das Zimmer nur für eine Übernachtung genutzt, daher kann ich nicht das gesamte Hotel ausführlich bewerten. Einzige Kritikpunkte, jedoch für mich nicht gravierend: das Bad war etwas klein, im Zimmer fehlte die Minibar. Die Lage des Hotels im Nells Park könnte so schön sein (im Sommer sicherlich noch schöner), wäre da nicht die restliche Umgebung: es befindet sich einem Industriegebiet, Autobahn ist in unmittelbarer Nähe (Geräuschkulisse noch akzeptabel). |
