Very quiet, perfectly clean hotel, good beds.
The location is really poor if you don't travel by car. I used public transportation, but I wouldn't recommend it either. No shuttle service. Free wifi or free breakfast could have make me love this hotel, but they charged for both. I won't come again.
Very clean, modern and comfortable. Room was comfortable and quiet. Great shower. Staff were friendly, proud of the hotel and could not go enough yo help or make you comfortable. We had a three course meal in the restaurant and it was delicious with a nice bottle of white. Staff were attentive and ensured all our needs were met. The price was very comparable and even cheaper than in town.
Only disadvantage was to pay 10 eu got breakfast but this then accommodation cheaper and you could choose. Distance from town wax easily reachable by tram and free with the purchase if a Heidelberg card from the tourist office.
The hotel itself was excellent in every way. Well presented and very clean. The breakfast buffet was presented well and with care. The breakfast manager was very accommodating and hospitable.
The owner manager was brisk and made us feel like we were a problem when asking about the Internet connection. He did not give eye contact or smile, which is a bit disconcerting. He did warm up after a while.
Air conditioner was not functional
Cheap, close to tram stop, new furniture, good bed, clean. Some of the rooms had balconies, ask for a balcony room on the backside of the hotel as the roadside is quite traficked. We recommend it because it´s cheap and if you follow our advice you are more likely to have a better experience than us.
Breakfast is not worth the 10 €, you can save them for dinner and get cheap self catering at Kaufland 2 short tramstops away. 16 € a day for wi fi is definitely not worth to pay. The personnel was bothering us by knocking and phoning about abandoning the room for cleaning, even though we had the "don´t disturb" - sign. The worst part is if you are parking your car in the courtyard, and it´s close to 2 m wide, which means you risk both scratches, dents or even collisions getting out again. If that wasn´t hard enough, the staff certainly added to an already stressed parking situation, by not properly coding the access keys, so we were completely stuck with the car there with a neighbour nagging about how her car was hit by anothe hotel guest while backing out at the street (be sure that the staff check the code on any door inside, so you can see the code actually work before you park).
The room was small but very well designed. Everything was clean and turn down service excellent. Great value.
The desk person was quite rude when I was early and said I'd requested early check in. Perhaps it's a cultural barrier as in Canada this is totally reasonable and not something to get snapped at over. The location was far from downtown but very easy to access on the transit.
the staff was very helpful and friendly. breakfast was plentyful and offered a huge variety. There is a tram going directly to town. room was spacious. The bed was super comfortable on street parking is no problem to find.
bathroom very small. rooms after cleaning smelled of eggs (it went as soon as we opened windows though) they charge for parking wifi only free if you book with them directly their internet portal in the lobby was out of service.
Hotel decor was lovely
Room was a little stuffy at night as the window needed to be kept shut because of noise. Central heating to leep cool would have been good
The service, the staff, the atmosphere and all the facilities were great! Very much value for money :-)
It could have been a bit closer to the centre, but that doesn't really matter. It had good connections to the centre and the distance might actually have made it a bit quieter, so not really a problem :-)
Really nice value for money. The bed was comfortable and the restaurant/bar was pretty nice too.
The location is not bad if you plan to visit the city center (one tram ride), but to get to the main station you need to take the tram and a bus
Very modern, good breakfast, not far from the tramway station
The hotel is modern. It is good if you have a car. Can park on street for free.
Absolutely great! The best Hotel ever! Staff absolutely friendly and Kind! They made averything for us. When I asked for a map, the guy in the reception gave a us a real lesson about the City and everything that we should see! Comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, clean, and easy to reach touristic places. Just loved!
Far from town.
Clean room, nice hotel design.
Nice staff and restaurant. Great to be on a tram line # 22
Should have free wifi. Europe sucks for wifi.
The room is clean and well furnished. They are flexible for early check in. The based price is cheap considering the tourist spot can be easily assessed by public transport.
The people there are helpful but not really friendly. 10€ for the breakfast is way too much over priced. And 7€ Wi-Fi for 24 hours is also the most expensive I found during our stay.
The whole hotel has been well thought out. Loved the lighting in the rooms. Very modern. Very peaceful and quiet. The dining room had a great atmosphere. Trams were just down the road and great value on a 4 day pass, got around very easily. Staff were pleasant, helpful and attentive.
Very friendly and efficient staff who were eager to help. Clean and comfortable room and a delicious buffet breakfast. There was also a secure on-site car park. It was a lovely hotel which was perfect for our stay in Heidelberg.
Distance from the city and the romms must be renovated
It was available at the time, nothing else
Very far from the city center. Expensive for what it offers. Not totally as described. I think they are doing some renovations as i write this, but overall poor opinion
