Staff were excellent and helpful, location was also very good. Also not too far from the train station.
Comfortable mattress and very good breakfast
Piped music in the corridors
Very good rooms! We had room with a view( altmarkt platz), a view was very beautiful! Near is cathedral and bell rings at 7 in the morning!!! But it's badly audible and adds romanticism, colors! It's possible to reach all sights by foot!!! There are a lot of cafés near! You are able to reach from the main rialwaystation to hotel about 10 min. Friendly personal
I was surprised by the hotel! Close to everything! But don't forget to bring your German teacher If you are going to Dresden...
Parking was hard to find.
Opitmum location in the center - near the old town and the new one. Excellent staff.
The glass window and the glass door of the bath-room - turning on the light at night one cannot sleep ! Moreover, the door is not closed as it should be.
Amazing location Beautiful rooms
Great location; most of highlights are in walking distance and perfect link with public transport
friendly staff helpful
parking is a hassle
Absolute perfect location. Away from the center of the tourist area by about 6 blocks so it was easy and safe walking while not having the late evening restaurant noises. Next to a Starbucks, a shopping center, and fast food for off hours eating. Good parking, good service. Excellent stay. Would stay there again.
View from room was limited. Parking was expensive at 17.50 euro per day, but somewhat expected for the location.
- nice, modern interior - location of the hotel in the city center - free WiFi (OK for surfing with phone and tablet, but not super fast) - possibility to store luggage after check-out
- the location of our first room: on the side where the entrance is, across from the Kreuzkirche (church) whose bells rang every hour (also at night) and for several minutes at 7 a.m.! So we had a very early start on the first day. Fortunately we could change rooms to the other side of the hotel where the church bells could not be heard. - the rooms were a bit dusty. - the bath room has a window (milk glass) towards the room which impacts the privacy of the person in the bath room.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Excellent location, very good cleaning staff who changed sheets that were stained when we arrived. Some of the staff in the reception (young women). If we recommend the hotel it is only because of the location.
The person who received us at check in was not very friendly or service minded (a young man). Wi-fi was Ok but a bit slow. The general impression was of somewhat sloppy management (?). E.g. some sheets were stained when we arrived. Very expensive breakfast (which we did not eat). The temperature was to high during the nights, we could never get it below 22 centigrades.
Location, we arrived during October Fest Market. Market for shopping was very nice. Rooms were clean and staff was great. We rented bikes and a segway -great way to get arou9nd.
Nothing all was good
Modern hotel in great location in city center with very good breakfast buffet and garage parking options. Would definitely stay here again.
Some issues with WiFi access in hotel room.
Reception staff wasn't very friendly and it was hard to stay positive myself after 16h flying. Room was on the second floor wich actually means first floor and you could hear all the noise from the platz (view from hotel) and air conditioning was bad/slow or wasn't working. Wi-Fi was slow.
location & breakfast
No coffee making options in room
The property was well located between malls and historic areas. Room was comfortable.
Staff does not know how to provide service wit ha smile. My face was cut by the sharp edge of the tap lever. Good thing it missed the eye. No serious injury, but I alerted the staff to the danger posed so no customer would be seriously hurt. Instead of a word of thanks, the guy behind the counter asked "what do you want ". I did not want anything from the hotel, but if it were an eye, it would be different. That's insulting.
nice hotel in the city of Dresden. Frauenkirche and lot of restaurants in footwalk distance.
hotel charges 20€ for breakfast - have choosen the backery in front of hotel.
I resent hotels that offer and advertise free internet only to learn after check-in and settled in your room. That the internet is for email only and lite browsing. If you want real internet it is an additional fee. This is like advertising free shower, but only enough water to wash you face. If you want real shower it is extra charge. I keep a list of these properties and promise never to return.
Very special, this view at the church, and so close. Beautiful spacious room. Pleasant large bathroom with toiletries. WiFi excellent, also in the room. For your laptop there's a WLan-cable. On the first floor there's a Smokerslounche. Very comfortable with leather armchairs, big flatscreen. Nice when it is raining. Very thoughtful of this hotel.
A pity that there are nowhere coffee or tea facilities. Breakfast far too expensive (Eur. 20,00 P.P.) Right round the corner (left) we had breakfast at Starbucks, Eur. 7,00, 2 persons.
- Nice rooms - grat location - very nice breakfast
- Stuff on the front desk should more friendly next time
We loved the hotel and its amenities, including the sauna and steam room. The bed was terrific, the windows were soundproofed so we slept wonderfully. And the staff couldn't be beat. But...after two nights we moved to an apartment hotel with a view of the Frauenkirche, a huge living room with 46" TV and CD player, a big bedroom, complete kitchen AND a bathroom with a whirlpool tub and washing machine--for $40 less a night. True, we lost the steam room, sauna and turndown service, but we went from one to FOUR rooms and felt we were at home.
Nothing-except the cost. A lovely hotel with fine services, but...we got more for less at a nearby apartment-hotel.
Cleanliness Very helpful reception staff
poor bathroom door design (gets in the way of bathroom access - a sliding door would be better. Shower head fixing slipped as it was not stiff enough (no adjustment)
