NH München am Ring

I couldn't run the sink without water coming up through the toilet

Location is far away from city center... bit hard to reach by bus/train

The room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable. Everything looked new and classy. The room service at the NH hotel near the munich airport was prompt.

I made a reservation on 7 Apr 2013 for a 2 nights stay in NH Munchen am Ring, booking number: 269617979. i think the reservation team at NH München am Ring messed up our reservation. When we arrived at the hotel at past 10pm on 10 May 2013, we were told by the reception staff that the hotel was full and they had no rooms left for us! That was ridiculous because the point of making a reservation was so that we could have a room when we arrive at the hotel. So the hotel sent us to their sister hotel which is located near the Munich airport (where we came from) about 25 mins on taxi. It was really frustrating because 1. we were tired and hungry from the flight and were looking forward to checking in and resting in the hotel but were faced with that unpleasant news instead. 2. the reception staff said the hotel tried to contact me but when i checked, there were no missed calls, no texts and no emails. and i made the reservation 1 month before. they had no reason to release my reservation, and if they did, they had no reason not to inform me about it in advance. 3. we spent more than 20 euros getting from the airport to the hotel only be to scooted back to somewhere near the airport again. 4. Our plans were messed up. The next morning we had to wake up extra early so that we can catch a taxi back to NH Munchen am Ring and get to the train station at 9am for our castle tour. The whole saga really tired us out and we dont have a good impression of NH hotels now. Yes they paid for the taxi fare to and fro and the hotel rooms were great but to encounter such inconvenience was just too much to take.

It was very clean, the staff was friendly, the location ok.

Breakfast was very expensive and not included.

Nice park and children playground behind the hotel. Great bakery just across the street!

Sauna was awful!!! Breakfast cost 17 eur per person!!! That is too high, but the tip for all visitors of this hotel is that there is great bakery just across the hotel, where practically all customers in the morning are hotel guests :) It is not so close to the metro. You need at least 15 min to the first metro station.

This was a transit hotel for us , the location is beatifull, spacious rooms, good conditions, also have kitchinet in the room, and free wifi.

This NH is more a hostel than a hotel.

Service good, location is very good to me as I am an exhibitor, the location is near and convenience to the exhibition hall. Quiet but also convenience to the centre..That is why I choose this again after the 2010 visit.

I am a smoker and smoke in the room. I know it is wrong. But the hotel charge me Euro 50.00 for the special cleaning. If there is advance notice and I do this. I willing to pay. But there seem to be no rule or notice or note told the customer there will have a charge.

All is fine. Rooms big and clear, friendly personal.

the sound isolation between rooms must be improved. The dialogs between the kid and his parents starting from 6:00am nerved us quite a lot, as we wanted to enjoy the morning sleep after a late night party.

The Staff and hotel comfort is the worth to mention. Anything we required we got. Love to stay again

Wi-Fi is not very much fast as compared to others. Can give more kitchen items for cooking. This is a suggestion only.
