Great location to relax after a busy day in the city. The desk staff took very good care of me and my family. Even when I had to correct a booking error that should have cost me, they were able to make the correction. I will definately return to this hotel on future trips to the Berlin / Potsdam area! Plan on 30 minutes if you wish to get downtown by public transportation (Bus stop in front of the hotel entrance). This is not a negative point, only a fact for trip planning.

I enyoed my stay at the hotel. The only bad point for me was its location. If you travel with a car and need to use motorway make sure you leave the hotel early in the morning as day time it can take you an hour or more to reach the motorway. To be fair I must say that if you do not use the roads outside Berlin and Potsdam you will enjoy the location of the hotel as you get a nice and quite sleep and the feel of a countryside.

Zimmergröße und Ausstattung. Der Wunsch nach einem ruhigen Zimmer wurde nicht beachtet, ein Bettbezug musste nach Reklamation wg. Verschmutzung ausgetauscht werden, die Preisliste für die Minibar stimmte nicht, zumindest wurde mehr beim Check- Out berechnet.

Zuvorkommender Service, sehr ruhige Lage, günstige Autobahnnbindung, kostenloser Parkplatz Das Frühstück ist mit 20 bzw. 17 € zu teuer. Da muss man schon Zeit und Hunger mitbringen, wenn sich das lohnen sollte, für den Schnellfrühstücker ( Kaffee und Müsli oder einen Toast ) uninterressant. Aufgrund der Lage ist es aber schwierig, eine Frühstücksalternative zu finden ( kein Café in der Nähe, nur McDonalds an der Autobahnauffahrt Kleinmachnow ).

Da wir am Schlachtensee eine Freundesfeier hatten, haben wir dieses Hotel auch aufgrund des Preis-Leistungsverhältnisses ausgesucht:Die Anfahrt ist einfach und es liegt sehr ruhig! Was wir aber vorher nicht erfahren haben !!! ist, dass dieses Hotel selbst an Wochenenden Feiern ausrichtet! So haben wir von Samstag auf Sonntag in der Nacht erst ab 3 Uhr schlafen können, da eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft bei lauter !!! Disco-Musik gefeiert hat. Trotz mehrmaliger Proteste an der Rezeption wurde die Musik nicht abgestellt.Das ist nicht hinnehmbar, denn man bucht ein Hotelzimmer ja zum Schlafen! Zumindest muss der Gast bei der Buchung rechtzeitig informiert werden! Aufgrund unserer nochmaligen Reklamation beim Auschecken wurde der Zimmerpreis für diese Nacht nicht berechnet ! Das Essen im Restaurant ist auch nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen, obwohl einem ja aufgrund der etwas abgelegenen Lage oft nichts anderes übrig bleibt! Ich habe dort die schlechteste Currywurst + Pommes frites meines Lebens serviert bekommen und diese auch nicht gegessen! Das Servicepersonal hat sich entschuldigt (diese haben das Essen nur serviert) und das Gericht wurde nicht berechnet.Ich habe etwas Anderes bestellt. Mit diesen Einschränkungen kann man Freunde dorthin schicken.

Für junges Paar und Städtereise oder Verwandtenbesuch ideal. Frühstück wegen des relativ hohen Preises (17 €/Person/Tag) nicht in Anspruch genommen. Zimmer über dem Haupteingang und Loungebereich zu hellhörig. Insbesondere die Loungemusik war selbst bei verschlossenen Zwischentüren zu hören.

Die Anmutung des Hotels als der Hotelfamilie nh Hoteles zugehörig hat mir als Madrid-Liebhaber sehr gefallen. So gehört zum corporate design zum Beispiel auch die Kleinigkeit, das die Magnetkarte für den Zimmerzutritt mit Madrid-Muster (Jugendstilschriftzug "Madrid" auf Wandfließenbild) haben kann. Als Hausstauballergiker ist mir die ausgezeichnete Zimmerreinigung (insbesondere des Teppichbodens) äußerst angenehm aufgefallen (Leidensgenossen werden wissen, wovon ich spreche). Ein gesondert abzurechnendes Frühstück zum Preis von 17 EUR/Nacht und Person mag dem Standard eines Vier-Sterne-Hotels gerecht werden. Die an sich sehr feine Ausstattung der Lounge und des Restaurant-/bzw. Frühstückraumes mit asiatischer Anmutung besticht für sich gesehen und ist sicherlich in dieser Zeit wo alles Moderne möglichst im "boutique"- Stil gehalten sein soll. Wer es jedoch gemütlich und ruhig mag, der sollte in Kauf nehmen können, das angesichts des Parkett- /Laminatfußbodens an das gemütliche Schlürfen des Morgenkaffees nicht zu denken ist, wie auch der Hall im Raum eher an Bahnhofshalle erinnert. Dem entspricht auch die Leistung Frühstück eher fernöstlicher Askese, was die Art des Anbietens und des Umfangs als einer dem Preis angemessenen Leistung. Ebenso ist nicht verständlich warum in einem Superior Zimmer, wie dem gebuchten, die Klimaanlage derart schwach funktioniert, dass bei Außentemperaturen jenseits von 25°c ein Zimmeraufenthalt nicht als angenehm gestaltet werden kann. Kommt noch hinzu, dass die Badezimmertür am WC-Becken mit sanftem Druck so eben vorbeischrammt, was ich persönlich als besondere Eigenart des Zimmers noch toleriert habe.
