The distance to the old town, the station, the breakfast, the large comfortable beds. people had deffinately been smoking in the hotel, our balcony had a glass with cigarette ends in it, room 105, not found by the cleaner, the hotel itself often smelt of smoke, as people smoke outside the reception with the door open. |

Very convenient for old city centre. Very friendly welcome. Large public car parking nearby at around €13 per day. Room smelt a little unpleasant. Bathroom was a little grubby. Couldnt get the hair dryer to work. One of the towels appeared not to have been washed properly. Room was quite noisy from the bars directly outside - triple glazing needed. Deposit of €10 needed for remote control. No major problems. |

The most incredible check in experience ever and all thanks to Jens at reception. This man is a revelation and his quirky behaviours had my wfe and I enthralled. Jens definitely deserves a bigger stage! The hotel itself proved to me much better than we expected considering that we paid just Euro 59 for a double including breakfast using www.booking.com. The hotel is superbly located in the altstadt (old city) very close to nightlife and amenties. Highly recommended. Say hello to Jens!! |

location a total rip-off, cell like room with the most single bed I ever exeprianced. probably 80cm wide and decommissioned from some summer camp. charged over 200€ gives a no-good-feeling, despite the ongoing exhibition. Visited other htl rooms nearby for the same price, large comfortable and double beds. = total rip off. |

Large room, friendly and helpful staff who were able to arrange for taxis, directions, etc. Elevator was out of order and the carpet was dirty in both the public rooms and our bedroom. |

Hotel staff very nice. Very well located in the AltStadt. Rooms are standard but clean with everything you need. I would suggest a safe deposit box in all rooms and a mini bar in the room. I am not complaining, but it would be easier for guests. All seemed fine. |

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for all that I needed. A decent breakfast and a comfy bed meant that I got good value. The heating created more noise than heat. |

Hotel staff helpfull, room had a very large comfy bed plenty of hot water for a bath, and the breakfast was very good. Location very close to underground and the Old Town which had good places to eat and night life. Short walk to the Rhine, overall great hotel and excellent location! Hall carpets shabby and decor bit dated, but was overall hotel was clean and tidy. |

The day manager was very accomodating when I asked to change rooms. They never mentioned that none of the rooms were air-conditioned. They initially gave me a room that was boiling hot with no electric fan and told me to open the window. Unfortunately, the window opened up to the bar side so it was incredibly noisy and still hot. I had gone back down to reception twice (at 2am!) to ask for a room change but the night clerk wouldn't give me a new room saying they were full and instead gave me an electric fan. The next morning, the day manager gave me a room at 8am! So there was obviously a room available. |
