This authentic Japanese 4-star hotel is just north of central Hamburg, 1700 ft from the outer Alster lake. Free internet access is available in the peaceful, minimalist rooms. The Nippon hotel offers rooms designed in a traditional Japanese style with minimal color and furnishings. These include Japanese futon double beds, tatami floor mats, and Shoji - paper walls, which let in lots of light. In the evening, visit the Nippon's WA-YO restaurant, where the chef specializes in traditional Japanese cuisine and delicious sushi. In the vicinity of the Nippon, you will find many little cafés and boutiques. Take a leisurely walk into central Hamburg along the beautiful Alster lake. Das Personal war sehr freundlich Das Restaurant sehr gut Grosses Badezimmer Gut gefüllte Bar im Zimmer und nicht zu teuer 30min fussweg bis zum Zentrum sehr praktisch Das Hotelzimmer war sehr klein, denn wenn mann die Photos betrachtet, sieht alles grösser aus als es in wirklichkeit ist. Für den Preis den mann bezahlt hat, hätte es etwas grösser sein können. Parkhaus etwas zu teuer, wenn Parkplätze auf der Strasse gratis angeboten werden.

Sehr, sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal! Schöne, stylische Zimmer. Gute Verkehrsanbindung (Metrobus Linie 6), direkt zum Hbf. Gastronomie auch in der Nähe. So ist ein Futon eben, hart! Für den der es nicht gewohnt ist. Reinigung des Badezimmers war oberflächlich. (Zahnpastaspritzer am Spiegel, Shampooflaschenränder an der Wanne)

Die Kombination von japanisch wohnen und essen gefiel mir sehr , dazu war man in wenigen Minuten an der Alster und schnell mit dem Bus in der Stadt.

純和風のホテル、というわけにはいかないが、靴を脱いで畳の上でくつろげるのは非常に心地よい。日本から短- 期滞在で来る日本人にはお勧めするほどではないが、海外在住日本人、長期旅行者等々にはお勧めできるホテル- だと思う。 場所が若干街中から離れているが、10分に1本来るバスで街中へのアクセスは問題ないし、逆に静かな環境の- 好むならよい選択だと思う。 朝食に「和定食」を選択できるが、ご飯が硬かった。ただそれを除けば、お刺身やたくあんも比較的美味しくい- ただけた。

sehr gepflegtes, im jap. stil eingerichtetes hotel, da es ausgebucht war, hatten wir ein upgrade in die suite. das personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich! das jap. frühstück ist eine köstliche erfahrung! alles zu unserer zufriedenheit und können es bestens empfehlen.

Lage war gut. Ich war nun schon zum 3. Mal im Nippon Hotel. Muss ganz ehrlich sagen, dass ich dieses Mal sehr enttaeuscht war. Zimmer war nicht gruendlich gereinigt. Ambiente Hotellobby ist sehr schoen, setzt sich aber nicht in den Zimmern fort. Preis-Leistung stimmte fuer uns leider gar nicht.

Ehrlich gesagt war ich enttäuscht. Ich hatte mich auf "das etwas andere, nämlich japanische, Hotel" gefreut. Aber das, was uns geboten wurde ist eigentlich nur ein ibis Hotel mit billiger japanischer Ausstattung. Der besondere Charme und das besondere Flair hat gefehlt. Die Zimmer sind klein und nicht besonders sauber. Und das Bett ist auch nicht japanisch... :-(. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend und viel zu teuer für die Leistung!

Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen Reismatten auf dem Boden und Papiervorhänge machen noch kein japanisches Hotel. Zimmer sind wirklich klein und sehr verwohnt. Zum Hinterhof erfreut die Lüftungsanlage des Nachbargebäudes.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, nah an der Alster. Wir sind als junges Paar spontan angereist. Der positive Internetauftritt hat uns dazu bewegt zu buchen. Als wir ankamen und eincheckten dann die Ernüchterung. Völlig billiges Zimmerdesign. Billige Futonbetten- und Matratzen. Total unbequem. 4 Sterne hat dieses Hotel sicherlich nicht verdient!!Die Zimmeraustattung, das Bad ales total billig. Dieses Hotel empfehle ich keinem der sonst Wert auf 4 Sterne setzt und dies erwartet!!
