The bed was very comfortable, which was most important to me.Based on previous comments we'd asked for a room at the back so we didn't have noise from the traffic, which was a plus. The staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Both the S-Bahn and the U-Bahn were only a short walk from the hotel. Tea and coffee are provided in the room, but supplies weren't plentiful. It would have been better if there had been more than two coffees and two teabags (one being herbal ! ). I can't comment on the restaurant as we found it cheaper to eat out.

The walls were thin and we had a very active (and vocal) couple next door. We might as well have been in the same room as their noises didn't leave much to the imagination!

All area of Hotel has free wi-fi connection based on Swiss.com, but the DL speed is slower than 3G connection. For business use, this would be the disadvantage for choosing this hotel.

Hotel staff were fantastic, really helpful in all areas. The hotel was in a perfect location. We even got back one evening very late (2am-ish) and the receptionist cooked us 2 pizzas for a small price as there was nowhere open to eat.

The hotel staff were very kind, welcoming and pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything was perfect. The location was ideal in terms of having restaurants near by and being very close to the nearest underground station and only a few stops away from the city centre.

The room was really narrow for two people (it was a double but I was alone so for me it was ok).

The double room is a little bit small. Actually there is no area for the suitcase and for the armchair especially in the case of two visitors. For one person it is almost OK.

The location is excellent and the Hotel is modern. The beds are nice as they promise and the rooms are clean and fair sized.

The breakfast was okay but I was expecting excellent in regards of the price, we had very nice dinner at a restaurant near by the evening before that did cost less. We also had a small dog with us and were informed it was at a 20 Euro charge, however when the invoice came it was 40 Euro as we had 2 rooms for one night. It was very warm in Hamburg when we stayed and since there was no air conditioning in the rooms we were boiling even though the window was open. Good potentials but missing the happy spark in this visit.

We had 2 rooms booked and one was on the quiet side of the hotel and excellent but the other room was on the main road side. It was very noisy with the window open and too hot with the window closed. No aircon.

Das Team ist erstklassig, kompe- tent , hilfsbereit und sehr höflich. Fr. Leichnitz hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns sehr wohl fühlten und gerne wiederkommen.

Der Frühstückspreis ist, mit € 18 pro Person,deutlich überhöht im Vergleich zu gleichwertigen Hotels

freundliches , zuvorkommendes Personal. Saubere Zimmer, Frühstück als Buffet mit guter Auswahl.

Hatten leider Zimmer zur sehr stark befahrenden Hauptstrasse.Nachts wurde es allerdings etwas weniger. Schlafen bei offenen Fenster gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es wurde uns aber bei nochmaliger Anreise ein Zimmer nach hinten raus angeboten.

Hamburg ist schön

Waschbecken mit Riesen Riss. Teilweise schwarze (Schimmel) Fugen im Bereich der Duschmöglichkeit. Relativ lange Wartezeit beim Einchecken, da ein Mitarbeiter etwas überfordert war mit einem anderenGast und zwei weitere ma private Probleme zu bereden hatten, oder U.U. nicht zuständig waren. Also alles in allem ein ordentliches 3* Haus. Der 4. Stern muss irgendwie "ergattert" worden sein.

Sehr gut gelegen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Sehr gute U-Bahnanbindung(ca. 200m vom Hotel entfernt). Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Personal sehr freundlich und kompetent.Zimmer sehr sauber. Frühstück sehr abwechslungsreich.
