The staff are very friendly, helpful and supportive, we have arrived here for medical emergency and instead of staying for a week, we have extended our stay for an extra week. The Management and Staff are always there to help, I highly recommend this hotel for any traveler to Aachen. Excellent value for money with underground car park, and outstanding Buffet breakfast. I can't fault this hotel.

The hotel is a little walk from the bus station, (Not that bad though). Once inside the hotel is clean and the staff were very friendly at check in and handled one very minor hick up with prompt action and a sense of humour. I can't praise them highly enough on the breakfasts. Nice hotel with excellent staff.

Very central for Shopping, Thermal Baths and Casino. Have stayed at this hotel every time we go to Aachen for a weekend break. Staff are very helpful and friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent being of good quality and value for money.

Location excellent tea and coffee facility in the room Value for money not bad The breakfast food was quite good Free internet in lobby Lots of tv channels Lack of storage space in room and bathroom- why shelves without drawers? Space limited in bathroom and room- no place to put toiletries etc No washbasin beside the toilet Basic furnishing materials Very small bath Pet hairs on bedroom carpet Pot of coffee was served too early at breakfast and was cold when we had the food ready. When we asked for more we got only cups of coffee. On the second day we were offered cups of coffee and not a pot. The waitress did not ask if we wanted tea or coffee the second day.

Modern hotel with excellent facilities and friendly helpful staff. Short walk to the old city, cathedral and Christmas markets. Very good value for money. Taxi from the railway station cost about 5 euros. Hard to find anything bad to say about this hotel. The only thing I would have liked would be free Wi-Fi in the rooms. We paid 9 euros for 24-hour access in our room, though I believe there is a free hot-spot in the lobby area.

We liked our waiter Boris, he had a sense of humor and actually was the bright spot of the stay at the Novotel! Because we arrived at 8pm they had given away our reserved rooms. They gave us 2 handicapped rooms, which is upsetting to me since I do have a brother who is in a wheelchair(not w/us) and would be very upset knowing they just hand out these rooms to those without handicaps. The shower flooded to the bathroom door. The beds were small. The rooms were hot and couldn't be controlled. I see the problem as they know how to take a reservation they don't know how to keep a reservation although they have no problem giving away your reserved room!

The hotel was perfectly located for visiting the city and despite being a large "chain" hotel the service was friendly and very helpful, more what you would expect from a smaller hotel. I would recommend it for any traveller.

- Standard room was okay (size, comfortable, coffee machine, separate toilet) - poor quality pillows (I woke up with a headache) - no fresh air, couldn't open the windows due to the moise outside - paid WiFi (not normal these days...) - price of the breakfast (17 Euros per person) - We hoped to be closer to the Altstadt (however location is still within walking distance)

A typical Novotel, not particularly memorable but perfectly adequate. Staff very all very nice. Good location close to the city centre and an easy 20 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast, though pretty good, was expensive at 17 euros.

modern, efficent and fuctional, well trained and informed staff. We liked the layout of the hotel and the design of the rooms. We would put in the top five hotels we have stayed in, in Europe. The menu for dinner was good but safe. Hotels really do fail to market the evening meals, Bereakfast however was excellent.
