Comfortable and spacious room. Pleasant staff. Excellent bus service into the centre of the city of Aachen. Take the guided tour of the cathedral - it's really fascinating. The mosaics and stained glass windows are glorious. The centre of Aachen is lovely and full of good restaurants. The area around the hotel is a bit seedy and when we arrived there was broken glass in the carpark where a car had evidently been broken into - this made us rather nervous. When we were leaving we were charged again for breakfast (which was supposed to have been included in the rate I paid). I will be reclaiming my money from the hotel. I think this was a genuine mistake.

Mercure Aachen Europaplatz offers an excellent balance between location and price for us, including a good parking offer. We were really happy with the quality of the service and the room. Perfect for our needs. The only possible thing I can think of is the lack of free wifi. It's certainly not a big issue though.

Location, rooms, breakfast Very difficult to find from the main street even if you are 30 meters from gate. A much more clear sign at the main street pointin to Hotell entry is needed. Even when navigator tells you "your are at target", you will not see the hotell.

Very friendly welcome by staff Breakfast costing 16 euro is ridiculous. I understand that a lot of hotels are charging this, but this is too much. By comparison around the corner a full warm meal buffet is only 14 euro.

The room was clean and well prepared. During a below freezing night, the room and hotel were very warm and comfortable. There was plentiful parking and the hotel was very easy to find off of the Europaplatz and the nearby motorway. Breakfast is about twice the price what it is worth, especially considering the dinner buffett cost only one Euro more than breakfast. The front desk staff were not very helpful when I struggled to interpret the German directions to the nearest bus stop. I would recommend the front desk "area information" book be updated with English, Dutch and French directions in addition to German. I would not recommend this hotel to International guests, unlike most other Mecure Hotels.

Accueil très sympathique, hôtel bien équipé, parking très aisé et bon marché, restaurant avec un bon rapport qualité/prix, chambre correcte avec bonne literie et tv écran plat. Situation idéale pour découvrir la ville( 15 min à pied en se promenant). Sanitaires un peu en dessous de la catégorie (fonctionnent bien mais pas pratiques), chambre plus petite que la normale dans un Mercure, salle de bain assez réduite. Environs de l'hotel assez déserts.

Unkompliziert; schnelles einchecken. Preis für das Parken absolut fair ( 5 Euro) Grundsätzlich ist, wie in vielen anderen Hotels der Preis für das Frühstück überteuert.. Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden.Ferner sind dort Haustiere erlaubt ( Preis 10 Euro) Die Lage; insbesondere der Eindruck des Hotelkomplexes von außen, Liegt versteckt - gleich neben der Arbeiterwohlfahrt; man vermutet dort kein Hotel.

Hôtel fonctionnel, conforme aux standards de la chaîne Mercure. Idéalement situé pour une visite aux remarquables thermes d'Aix.Petit déjeuner remarquable.Aisé d'accès par le réseau autoroutier. Assez proche du centre.Anglais nécessaire si vous ne parlez pas l'allemand. Peu de points négatifs. Pas de chaîne TV francophone pour un hôtel français.Bruits de moteurs gènants dans les chambres situées du côté du rond-point.Ne pas oublier l'indication "don't disturb" en cas de grasse matinée! (personnel matinal)

Ruhige Lage und Zimmer Essen mittelmässig, Restauratbedienung sehr mässig, von 3 bestellten Gerichten wurde nur der Hauptgang serviert. Die bestellte Suppe und das Dessert wurde vergessen. Unser kleiner Hund wurde mit 10 Euro berechnet, zu teuer.

- Het personeel was heel behulpzaam - De kamer was mooi en ruim - Het kinderbedje dat we mochten lenen was perfect - Het ontbijt was lekker en uitgebreid. We hebben één keer 's avonds gegeten in het hotel en dat was ontzettend duur voor eten te vergelijken met schoolkantine-eten.

La gentillesse du personnel et le buffet petit déjeuner qui était très correct. Malgré que nous avions une chambre "Privilège" je ne la trouvais pas très grande et la place entre le lit et le mur était très, très étroit.
