Convenience to airport; comfortable, casual bar and dining; easy to get to the hotel using public transportation (Bus 109 stops at the intersection to the road to the hotel - stop just before the airport). Spacious (for European hotels) and comfortable room. The shuttle to the airport begins at 5:00 A.M.; unfortunately, we needed to be at the airport earlier than that time. So, while we made the reservation to be proximate to the airport and for the use of the airport shuttle, in reality we were unable to use the shuttle service. However, the hotel staff pre-booked a taxi for us and the cost to the airport was minimal (6 euro).

Very convenient: the shuttle bus to go to the airport, available all day and making it very easy to go Berlin by public transport Nice little attempts to give the rooms an individual look A bit annoying: the smokers used the area just in front of the door

We like it because it so close to the airport. Also the place nearby. When you take a walk you feel like you are in the forrest. We didnt like the people in the reception. They should work with something else where they dont service people. The shuttlebus didnt pick up and leave to terminal C and you have to call the hotel to have the bus comming and pick you up. Breakfast costs more then it say on booking.We didnt get the room standard we booked.

Location to Tegal Airport We were not impressed with hotel. We found the staff down right rude in the restaurant. The lady in charge of the waiteress was most rude. She cleared our table before we were finished and grabbed the table runnner from the table right from under my elbow. The front desk staff were not helpful at all. If asked a question they would only answer the question you had inquired. No extra information at all. We had to pay for internet along with everything else. We were not asked how our stay was, and we also found a dirty sock behind a chair in our room .We will not reccomend, nor will we stay at this hotel again.

Near an airport with a shuttle from hotel to airport (but not the other way 'round) Standard German hotel breakfast Filthy room not cleaned even when we were there. Soap, etc. not replaced when empty -- had to go to desk to get more. Wait staff do not know the menu.

It was clean Very arrogant and rude staff; we were not told that there is a shuttle, and taxi drives refused to take us to the hotel from the airport, as too close. The water bottle in the room costs 4.10 euros! There is no free wi-fi in the lobby.

The price We booked a double room with one kids bed. But they gave us a rom with two singel beds. No kids bed. It was 2.00 at night so we stayed ther any way.

One Negative. I thought I read Airport Shuttle -- which is why I jumped at the hotel. Reality was that you can go to Terminal a (not a big deal, it is not a big airport) and get the city bus 109 (for 2.30e) and go one stop and walk about 500 meters. If the weather is good and not too much luggage, ok. But>>>> Otherwise, a fine establishment. Oh, it would be nice if there were at least a single English Language tv Channel -- but Deutch only. For a business airport hotel, more is expected.

Convenient to the airport. Good breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. Shuttle to the airport. Gym equipment was a little loose and not well cared for, it seemed; no tv in the gym; coffee pot in the room didn't seem to work - though I didn't ask the staff to come have a look so it might have been easily remedied.

The rooms were very comfortable indeed. The shuttle bus to and from the airport worked extremely well and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Highly recommended and represented excellent value for money. There was nothing we did not like about the hotel.

Good location if one has an early flight in the morning, with reliable free shuttle to terminal. The hotel is clean, but suffers from looking shabby and much in need of modernisation and updating, especially the corridors and bathrooms. I may have been unlucky, but the restaurant did not come up to the standards of a 4 star Mercure, and I found the meal very poor. However, the staff agreed with me, and did not make me pay for it. Definitely not 4*

Getting to Tegel can be a hassle due to the traffic in Berlin so staying a night at the Mercure is perfect to ensure a smooth and stressless flight out of Berlin. The Hotel is simply very good value for money. The Restaurant and Bar are first class. You can also get to the city centre quite easily by using buses from the airport and then the Sbahn.
