high price for standard accommodation. Ibis standard but not Ibis price

It wasn’t possible to get another two beers into the minibar after the bar closes, neither by mail nor by asking at the front desk.

The location of the hotel

The staff and no facilities for travellers including the internet i have to pay for it

It is a good 3 star hotel but not 4 star

1. location is great, walk to train station is in 4mins. (through the shopping center and follow the signs can easy to reach hotel.) Also easy to reach Dusseldorf train station around 15-25mins. 2. has indoor swimming pool (small) and sauna.

1. internet is not free, even in lobby is still can't use. 2. price of breakfast is higher. the bakery which on the right side in front of shopping center is much cheaper.(approx 4-7euro) 3. you can ask for bathrobe for free, but staff won't send it to room, you have to go to reception and take it. 4. shower in swimming pool is in open area and no shower gel/shampoo.

Pool good, rooms nice, staff helpful, would come back

Food prices

Sehr zentral gelegen, leicht zu erreichen mit guten, guenstigen Parkmoeglichkeiten. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend geraeumig und ansprechend. Absolut sehr zu empfehlen.

Der Preis sieht nur auf den ersten Blick so guenstig aus. Fruehstueck und Wifi addieren sich u.a. hinzu. Warum wird wifi extra berechnet? Das ist woanders laengst inklusiv als Standard. Bei zwei Mann im Doppelzimmer muss man sich entscheiden, wer den Koffer aufklappt und wer sich im Raum bewegt. Aber wo gibt es das Problemchen nicht?

The hotel was nice and the food was good, the staff in the bar area were very good. The rooms were ok with only two dislikes.

I travel a lot and stay in various hotels all over, the pillows were not of good quaility and all 12 business persons I was travelling with along with myself complained of neck pain and lack of sleep. I went and asked about this and was told nothing could be done as all pillows in the hotel were the same, the air con in the room we were unable to turn of compleatly causing the air in the room at night to dry out making it even more impossible to sleep and this was also the case with the rest of the group staying in other rooms. These are the only two things we all found wrong but we all said we would not use this hotel again unless the two problems were rectified because it affected our two night stay.

I only stayed fopr one night, and simply had no problems. Check-in, stay, and check-out all took place swiftly and smoothly. Thank you.

I would expect the Wi-Fi to be free in such a hotel. In Mercure they charge 9 euros per day or 3 euro per hour.

The breakfest was not very good, lots of empty place's. We have to wait for the eggs every morning. They placed us in a separate room, other then the breakfest room. Just 1 elevator in the building is very poor. You have to wait 10 minutes before you can go for your breakfest.

Excellent location - right in the centre of town. Perfect for shops & Christmas markets. A 2 minute walk from the main train station and its excellent links to other German towns & cities. Breakfast buffet was great - lots of choice. Although busy, the food offerings were constantly replenished.

Can't comment about dinner as we ate our in local bars / restaurants.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Breakfast was very rich and good.

Using internet costs 9 EUR per day, but using internet should be normal service and provided for free in a hotel like that.

Good location for all the big cities around if you do business.

Great location.10 minute walk from the railway station and next to a large shopping restaurant (and casino ) center.

No free internet. Breakfast on the high side.

Clean and comfortable, with helpful staff and good standard of service. All this and literlal;y 5 minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof

Very nice hotel for the money. Especially for being in Germany. I will stay at another Mercure Hotel in the future. Very modern and clean.
