The room was quite spacious (particularly for a European hotel), the beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. The lobby had a nice place to sit and the food in the restaurant was surprisingly tasty. We also liked the ample (and free) parking in and around the hotel.

In 2013, it's disappointing to have to pay for Wi-fi at a hotel in this category. The McDonald's a few hundred meters away even offers free Wi-fi! The exterior is disappointing, but the interior is very well updated.

We are a family of five travelling through to Paris and stopped at Saarbrucken for a break. The staff were very welcoming and helpful (spoke excellent English) and kindly gave us adjoining rooms which was perfect for us and our 3 children. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and had a good variety of food. The location of the hotel made it very easy for us to continue our journey onto Paris.

My expectations were not very high since this is a budget chain hotel which are usually anonymous and not terribly comfortable, but I was delighted to find a very cosy, warm atmosphere, pleasant and modern decorations, an excellent restaurant staying open till late and lovely and helpful staff all round. In my room I especially appreciated the second 'soundproof' door which guaranteed an undisturbed night's rest.

Why hotels still don't understand that wifi should be free (like the water one uses in the shower) is beyond me. Even though it was only € 3 per hour, this is a matter of principle. There are some signs of wear that should be looked into.

The staff were extremeley helpful, we had a really good meal at 10-30pm when we arrived. The room was clean, modern and immaculate. The food was excellent and the saff were friendly.

We used it as a stop over on return from holiday and the very reasonable price was good. The good sized room had almost every thing you could need including tea and coffee making facilities. the resturant was open till 11pm which was fortunate as we ended up not arriving untill 9.30!!

Was slightly dissapointed in the menu as I wanted something light due to the late hour.

Do not know where to start. Booked as a stop off on the way home. Big mistake - should have stayed a minimum of 3-4 days. Room 803, side of hotel with excellent view of mountains and Lake Maggiore. Immaculate hotel. Big bedroom, immaculate condition, first class night's sleep, amazing breakfast and topped off with the most courteous and helpful staff. The hotel is right on French border so you have choice of towns to visit. Top marks to a top hotel. Well done everyone there.

Prices for Breakfast should be clearly displayed or when asking customers whether they want breakfast should be stated.

It's a very nice hotel, clean, quiet, very freandly stuff. It has an piscine and good german beer.

Hotel is very far away from downtown (city center). Last buss is going at 7.00 p.m. to downtown (no modality to come back, except taxi).

Breakfast not worth the money

Easy to find as a one night stop over. We liked the rooms and cleanliness. Good car parking. The breakfast, which was very expensive, was however, very good.

Our only critisism was the risotto my wife had for dinner was not very good. It was exceptionally greasy. We did inform the waitress but no comment was made.

Zimmer sind schon sehr abgewohnt. Zimmertüre machte nicht den sichersten Eindruck.
