Dating from 1751, this family-run hotel offers country-stlye rooms and an indoor swimming pool. It is in the health resort of Höfen an der Enz, surrounded by the Black Forest. All rooms at the Hotel Ochsen feature a TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Most rooms have a balcony. The Ochsen offers not only an indoor pool for relaxation, but guests can also book massages and beauty treatments. In the evening, the Ochsen’s Fößerstube, Uhrenstüble, and Jägerstüble restaurants serve seasonal, Swabian specialties from a gourmet menu. Barbecue evenings are held on the terrace during the summer. The Black Forest offers many hiking trails, motorbike routes and bike paths. The staff is happy to recommend routes. The Hotel Ochsen has secure parking for motorbikes. Nice new swimming pool with sauna. Booking.com customers get an old room without heating. Donot look at any of the pictures on the website, as they donot correspond with the reality. Wired internet only. Dirty bathroom.

La propreté, les chambres, la qualité des repas Nous avons été réveillés, les 2 nuits à 0 h 30, par des bruits de pas (bruits de grincement du plafond) au-dessus de notre suite (209). Probablement que les gens logeant dans la chambre au-dessus de la notre sont rentrés à cette heure-ci les deux jours de notre présence. C'est dommage!

Sehr schön ausgestattete Dusche/WC. Lage des Hotels Bei Ankunft war Rezeptionistin in offenem Nebenraum am Essen ohne zu schauen ob und wer da angekommen ist und geläutet hat. Nach ein paar Minuten hat sie sich dann bequemt zu mir hinzuschauen und aufzustehen. Es hat sie offensichtlich sehr gestört, dass da jemand angekommen ist und etwas von ihr will. Zimmer sehr klein.

Zimmer + Bad sehr sauber Man sieht IM Haus absolute Unterschiede (leider auch in der Qualität; Sanierungsstau insbesondere in den Fluren) von Alt- und Neubau, im Preis spiegeln sich diese Kategorien nicht wieder.

Das Hotel befindet sich in ruhiger Lage und hat einen grossen Parkplatz. Es ist schon vom Äussern her sehr einladend. Das Zimmer (nach hinten gerichtet) war sauber, zweckmässig eingerichtet und recht geräumig. Auch das Essen hat uns überzeugt. Sehr nett fanden wir die Reception, die auf unsern Wunsch grosszügig eingegangen ist. Wir würden jederzeit wieder im Hotel Ochsen übernachten.
