City Hotel Ost am Kö  

Nicely appointed modern rooms, clean, very courteous and helpful staff.

Only negative is that it doesn't have air conditioning so during slightly warmer days room was a little warmer - windows had to be opened with outside noise coming in.

Don't skip the excellent breakfast!

The hotel is a great deal for the money. The location is excellent for visiting the historic center. The rooms are clean, and well maintained. The bathrooms are clean, functional and new.

The only issue is that there are no beds larger than a twin. They push two of them together to form a single large bed. As you can imagine two twins do not a king make. This seems more of an industry standard for smaller, non-global, hotels in Europe rather than the fault of the hotel.

Hotel　ｓtuff was very　kind and my room was quiet.

The location relative to the Bahnhof was of primary concern. The staff was extremely helpful, gave great dining recommendations and directions. The parking facilitites were very convenient.

Location, location. We arrived late after a long day of traveling the Romantic Road. Staff was was friendly, and helpful. We lucked out and got a suite for the same price as a regular room. Very clean, and a 5 star breakfast, period! Unfortunately we were moving too quickly through germany and could not stay longer. Parking just a 1/2 block west which was not free. If you are looking for a place for a night or 3, you will not be dissapointed with this hotel.

Extremely convenient for visiting Augsburg. Very good breakfast. Comfortable and modern facilities. Staff extremely helpful. Thought parking was going to be a problem, but ok to unload etc outside, and very good and reasonable underground car park just around the corner. Didn't need car at all whilst there, so very convenient.

Could possibly be noisy in summer, if one wanted the window open, as on main road. But we didn't find it a problem at all, we were not bothered by noise of traffic.

I liked that it was very well located in the center of Augsburg, and I liked the big variety at breakfast. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the hotel is near the shopping district and not far at all from the main train station. I was there for 2 nights.

One thing I can maybe complain about is that I didn't have hot water for my shower that I was so looking forward to on the second night. That was a might disappointing.... Other than that no complaints.

Good location right near the city centre. The staff were fiendly and helpful. The room (a triple) was a good size. There was an impressive spread at the breakfast buffet.

The bathroom doors were frosted glass. I would have preferred a traditional wooden one.
