Hotel Panorama Hamburg-Harburg  

We had only cold water when we took a shower. When we complained, the person behind the desk said that they had problems with the hot water. They did not tell us when we checked in.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel has a free underground parking. The hotel is near the motorway.

The immediate area around the hotel felt a bit run down and unsafe. We arrived around 8p and had a look around for a restaurant. We ended up in a nearby "shopping mall" which felt really unsafe.

The place is painfully far away from Hamburg city center.

Free underground parking. Quite ok breakfast. Good price.

Everything costs extra. The gym/spa was not in the hotel, and not free (although you could get a free trial - which would imply that you were interested in signing up) Breakfast was extra. Wifi was also not included.

Peaceful environment. City center of hamburg is easy accesible by public transportation. Very clean room and friendly hotel staff. Beautifully renovated hotel. Safe and comfortable car parking

Staff very friendly... I asked for an iron and toothpaste and they provided me without charge... They do speak english. Hotel very near the metro station (less than 200m walking). Clean room and toilet, large windows, simple but everything very clean and organized. Very good value for money and nice place to stay for whom is visiting TUHH. Internet is not included in the fee of the apartment and was a bit expensive; also breakfeast expensive.

A good, no frills 4 star. Great value for money for a solo traveller even with breakfast. Close to S-bahn and shops. There's a decent bar/restaurant (called Oktober) 5 mins walk away open until 4am.

I'm a fan of no frills and like not having to pay for things I don't use. I do, however, think that having to pay €13 per day to watch TV is a bit mean.

Looks like they finally started renovating the 20 years old bathrooms. The remodeled ones are pretty nice.

The TVs are 20+ years old tube TVs, have a poor picture quality and high pitch hiss. The internet will cost you an arm and a leg.

Das Badezimmer war ganz neu renoviert. Sehr praktisch war die kostenlose Tiefgarage um das Auto abzustellen. Das Hotel befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum S-Bahnhof, so dass man in ca. 15 Minuten am Jungfernstieg ist.

Das Frühstück ist mit ca. 14 Euro pro Person sehr teuer. Wir haben stattdessen in einem Bäckerei - Cafe "Dat Backhus" im nahegelegenen Phoenix - Einkaufcenter sehr gut und günstig gefrühstückt. Der Stadtteil Harburg ist allerdings nicht gerade attraktiv. Als Ausgangslage für Ausflüge aber ideal. Für den Preis hätte man in der Innenstadt nur ein Zimmer mit gemeinsamen Badezimmer auf dem Flur bekommen.

Good location (as far as Hamburg-Harburg is concerned of course), reasonably quiet and comfortable although not luxurius.

In my opinion the price is quite high by German standards, so I would expect a bit more...

Angebot Frühstücksbuffet war nicht umwerfend, bei Nachfrage wurde aber sofort reagiert
